🌸 teen hanami mixer 🌸
WHO: The population of Outsiders ages 19 and under (and equivalent)
WHAT: A sakura viewing party!
WHERE: One of the choicest of picnic spots
WHEN: Afternoon of March 17th
WARNINGS: TEEN SHENANIGANS. If necessary this will be updated!
For those Outsiders on the younger side, Raidou has sent out a blanket text message to one and all inviting them to a hanami picnic at a park near the base. Everyone is encouraged to bring whatever snacks and entertainment they like, but it's not a requirement. Yukata are also encouraged but not required. This isn't anything formal, just a chance for everyone to hang out, for the newbie kids to get acquainted with their fellow Outsiders, and to get a little comeuppance on the adults who got to go out on a bar crawl without them all. The only rule is that adults will be turned away from sitting with them! Sorry, folks.
Raidou Kuzunoha is not exactly a person known for his social aptitude or party planning skills, and it's a miracle he's even come up with this idea, so it's definitely a good idea for people to bring want: food, drinks, games. Someone needs to sneak in the sake, because this straight-laced kid will not be. Not to fear if you come empty-handed though, as there are plenty of snack stalls nearby. Most of his efforts have gone into finding and securing the perfect spot for them to hang.
This log is for mingling top level comments for any kind of hanging out and activities. Whether you want your characters affected by the sakura hay fever is up to you. Have fun!

Raidou Kuzunoha XIV | Devil Summoner | OTA
[If you look like you're one of the newer recruits, or perhaps just someone who looks unsure about what to do or where they are, a boy in a dark blue yukata and old-fashioned, almost military-looking hat will give you a little wave for your attention and then gesture to the open spot next to him on a picnic blanket. He gets it; he frequently feels lost in social gatherings like this, and not very long ago he was new too.]
Welcome. Thanks for coming. it's best we enjoy these sights while we can, yeah?
[The unfortunate reality of living under the kaiju threat. Every day everything stays on one piece is a precious one.]
🌸 002.
[Raidou didn't come empty handed; as a matter of fact, he brought cake! A cake he made himself, with some help at first. Turns out Bakugo is a good baking teacher, and Raidou is a good student. It's a coconut snowball cake, dark chocolate with cream and coconut icing that's the same pink as the sakura trees. Everyone is welcome to it, but the first piece is going to Yuji - it's his birthday in a few days, and while he said he didn't want to do anything for it, Raidou wanted to at least make something. He doesn't plan to tell anyone else that's what it's for, but hey, if someone overhears...
If you've brought any snacks or especially sweets yourself, you'll find Raidou there soon enough. This event has his not-so-secret sweet tooth in full effect.]
Did you make this? It looks great.

Lucy | Elfen Lied | ota
The spread she brings is quite the sight. Her picnic blanket is covered with the many tiers of a fancy lunchbox, five in total. Two are packed full with onigiri and sandwiches, one with two rows of skewered odango, one with pink daifuku, and the final one is just...well, a wide arrangement of sushi but especially big futomaki rolls. There's also a plate with homemade cookies shaped like cherry-blossoms, and bottles of alcohol-free sake.
Both Lucy and Nyuu can respond for this! Nyuu will be much more responsive and eager to have people eat with her. Lucy...well she won't stop you if you sit down but she's been silently sipping away at a suspicious bottle of sake she's been keeping for herself. ]

After extroverting hard for an evening, he takes up a quiet spot away from the crowd, leaning against a blossom tree and looking contemplative. All this partying isn't unenjoyable, presumably it's what normal teens do, but he needs a break before he starts to feel like he's just going through the motions.]

Bakugō Katsuki 💥 Boku no Hero Academia
[For someone who isn't social adept, Raidou's certainly been the host or impetus for a few social gatherings already. He wonders what keeps prompting the guy to do these things. If it's another person, they should step up instead of getting Riadou to do it... or it could just be Raidou. Whatever. Bakugo had been planning on going out today to view the cherry blossoms anyways. Dressed in a dark yukata with red and grey designs, he's comfortable among the warming weather as he lies off to the side beneath one of the trees a bit away from the other kids around his age.
It reminds him a little of his class back in U.A., listening to their chatter while he's keeping himself separated from the bunch so he doesn't get wrangled into their shenanigans. Lost in a mixture of nostalgia and rest, and probably in a strange place to try and take a nap beside the din, that looks like what Bakugo's doing. A few sakura petals fall on his chest, get caught in his spiky hair, and one even balances right on the tip of his nose.
At least it was, until he puffs out a breath to blow it off.]
🌸 002.
[At least no one's tried to make trouble for their group; fights have already broken out over some choice spots throughout the past day or two of the festival. Bakugo's put a stop to two of them (and gotten into one) because he's a police officer and a teenager. Go figure. When he does leave his rest on the outskirts, it's usually to get something to eat.
Due to all the soft and sweet things people usually bring to Hanami parties, Bakugo eschewed the confections he's been assisting a few others in the kitchen with, and instead brought onigirazu filled with plain white rice, teriyaku salmon, asparagus (or peppers), and a sakura petal inside, a all wrapped in pickled sakura leaves instead of traditional seaweed, which makes for a salty, savory bite.
Apart from the food, Bakugo can get wrangled into a game, usually playing one of the numerous kinds with Hanafuda cards, or casting dice for a game of Farkle (aka: Greed, Hot Dice, Zilch, etc), and being his overly competitive self who loves to win.]
Manjoume Jun | Yu-Gi-Oh! (GX)
He didn't bring any cooking (trust us, this is a good thing as he has little to no experience with preparing food) but he did bring his Duel Monster cards as he leans against a tree and shuffles his cards between his hands to give himself something to do, until someone approaches him.]
Oh, hey. What's up?
