[ he's not used to being prompted for more words. most people trekked carefully around him. then his comrades... obviously, weren't here anymore. it isn't that he dislikes the notion, or maybe, he's more tolerant with her. he seems to mull over what to say, before: ] It's not any consolation...

[ he leads with those words. unfortunately, there isn't grand epiphany or elaborate dialogue on his end. despite pinpointing that rodya may have clearly been special to him, he knows it's not like he could irresponsibly act on these emotions. maybe a part of it is simply ingrained within him. despite that being undone with centuries of existing in the tower and his companions... the orphan who was was wary to trust others definitely still existed within him.
