Chinese? [There is no 'China' in The City, so she had to look up examples real quick through her implant and she lights up on the result that she found.] Oh! Yeah, let's get some of that too~

[Zero fucks, she's going to order a little bit of every type of food. She follows the instructions on the tablet to get their order started.]

What are we doing for drinks? I mean, we do got plenty of water. [Including both their supplies and the mini fridge in their room.] Oh, oh, oh, and there is dessert too-

[ he says those words before realizing that they didn't exist in the tower, either. a slip of the tongue, and yet, he's a bit relieved that it didn't necessarily mean it was a misstep on his part here. though, he does wonder why his preferences were so easy to say around her. still, he's not very picky, and he watches her select the items with interest. ]

I am fine with whatever you want to drink. [ though, he does wonder what the specialty here is. there does seem to be a fabled liqueur on the menu with a desert snake in it. but, do they want to go down that route?

but, it's nice to see the improvement in her mood. despite his own expression not exactly shifting dramatically, he also seems a bit lighter, as if comforted by her energy. also, i'm crying because this is reminding me of singles inferno for some reason. ]
