[ ereshkigal finds herself in the body of a small bird, flapjack! she's flying around hunter, currently dressed like a scout. she'll know, implicity, that hunter is out here against orders, trying to get titan's blood -- a powerful and rare substance that will help his master, emperor belos. and she -- as flapjack -- is worried about him. he doesn't understand why she keeps following him! whatever she says comes out as chirps ]

[ hunter narrows his eyes ]

I don't speak palisman. [ and then, without a beat: ] Okay, here's the plan. I slip in with this disguise. I find the Titan's Blood before Kiki. I give it to Belos, boom! I'm useful again!

[ suddenly, a blast of magic comes out from nowhere and completely annihilates the tree they were hiding behind! ]

[ what does she do next? ]

Why is she a bird? What is happening? Being able to fly isn't a bad thing - why, it's a wonderful feeling! But she can't appreciate it when she's panicking so much, no no no. Is that... Hunter? ]

I-Is this a memory too? Do you understand me?

[ Are her words coming out properly or does he only hear her chirping? And then, an attack? ]

What was that?

[ She flies around his head like a moon around a planet. ]

Stop making so much noise! Get down!

[ he grabs her and holds her protectively to his chest just as another blast narrowly misses her -- and then takes off fleeing ]

Okay, new plan. We'll find another way in!

[ at this point she can get free, because he slips and falls down a hill ]

[ W-Why is he holding her like that now? ]

L-Let go of me!!

[ Clearly he's not able to understand her words. Is that how her souls feel when they try speaking to her, only for her to not understand? They must be panicking even more than what she'd imagined!

But all those concerns are dismissed when he slips and falls. O-Oh goodness! She flies after him and tries to poke at his face. Is he alright? Is he alive? ]
