[ in the distance, he sees a silhouette with glowing blue eyes covering it ]

[ on the other hand, the child tugs at his arm and shakes his head furtively!! no, rice leaf, don't try to fight it! just run with him! ]

[ NOT RICE LEAF…..at least make it tea leaf, his beloved….

And, okay, that sure is a hulking mass of a being in the distance. Like an oversized hilichurl, except he's pretty sure hilichurls don't usually glow like that. And while he'd usually be able to take on a hilichurl no problem, he has no idea what this particular creature is capable of.

If the kid wants to run….then alright, he can take the hint for now. Time to get a move on. Lead the way, little buddy! ]

[ but that's not a wriothesly joke :( the creature seems to spot him and the child and makes a beeline for them. that same strange giggle vibrates all through the halls. it almost sounds like it's coming from the child, but the child seems terrified ]

[ he tugs wriothesly forward -- and despite the warnings not to touch the paintings -- the two of them end up running straight into one. ]

[ the child then detangles from wriothesly, and a scene plays out. ]

[ hunter, and the girl, luz, (he'll instinctively know her name) are present, but they don't seem to acknowledge wriothesley's presence. notably, the henchman in the video he'll recognize as a golden guard -- which was hunter's role. eerily enough, it sounds like hunter, too ]

So much for not touching any of those paintings though. Though he doesn't have much time to ponder deeply over their apparent taboo when he's already being thrust into another scene, his brain desperately trying to play catch up with all the puzzle pieces suddenly thrown at him.

The easiest thing to do is to say hi to Hunter (except not? no response? okay) but when that plan fails, he turns to his little buddy. Is his little buddy still there. ]

You know that guy?

[ With a wave to the rather suspicious guy who's just headed off. ]
