[ the child looks at her, then.... nods slightly at the half asked question.... but at the second question, after taking a look at her, takes her hand ]

[ tries to tug her a bit as a response. he seems to want her to follow him ]

[ a resounding shriek shakes the mindscape, there seems to be a figure approaching from far away..... at a slow pace befitting a nightmare ]

March sighs a little, under her breath, but squeezes the kid's hand and lets him take the lead. ]

I gotta say, you've got a lot going on in here...

[ the child.... stiffens, weirdly enough, at the squeeze, but continues to lead her. they pass by a few more paintings (the last one, she'll instinctively know, is hunter -- aka: the golden guard, the day he received his special staff -- a staff with artificial magic. flapjack is nowhere to be seen here.) ]

[ she sees the silhouette of the monster approach -- a hulking figure with that appears to be covered in glowing eyeballs. the child insistently tugs at her hand, pointing to one of the paintings. ]

[ will she go in? ]

[ Well, maybe better to end up somewhere else than to be caught by some kind of thing wearing eyeballs like the latest trendy accessory, so March nods and moves to enter the painting with the kid in tow. ]
