[ he starts moving, up to dearka's side -- but keeping a bit of a berth between them, and watching his every move. this will probably get old quick ]

[Yeah, for a second Dearka thinks this is progress? But then the little shrimp keeps trying to keep a distance between them as they walk, and also keeps looking at him like he's about to pull a knife and jump him or something. He stops walking abruptly and heaves a sigh.]

Y'know, if you keep focusing on staying out of reach of me, you're gonna wind up in the range of something else.

[So saying, he whips his wand up and points in what at first seems like Hunter's general direction. But in the next second, there's a flash of a spell... And then the sound and the heat caused by one of those carnivorous plants getting mcfucking exploded reveals that Hunter was never actually the intended target.

And then Dearka frowns at his own wand. How the hell did he even know how to do that...? This dream is weird.]
