01. Generic starters - throughout the month - various locations in Neo-Tokyo
[ rover is doing her best to get to know her location and the people in it! if you come across her during your wanderings, feel free to say hi.
some places she can be found in:
a. shrines - shinjuku wandering around and checking out the set-up in the temples. the set-up is much simpler than what she'd seen in the gorges of spirit with jue's memorial.
b. LILICO game centre she's good with any of the games that require strength - first person shooter, fighting games, that kind of jazz. rover is also into puzzle games; the area she's in is most definitely designed for seniors and younger players, but she doesn't care. she'll finish that puzzle game.
c. tokyo bay a fun, solitary place to drink boba in is the top of some debris while watching the waves come in an out of the bay. she's just staring off the distance, mulling over her thoughts. she half-expects the rolling clouds to bring in some rain, and even stares up at the sky now and then to see if it's going to happen; but it doesn't, so she just remains on her perch. ]
02. Generic base shenanigans - meeting with teammates, others, etc.
[ a. redemption meet and greet. say hi! rover doesn't sleep well, she'll be out and about in odd hours of the night or early hours of the day. you can find her in the cafeteria, greenhouse, or just catch her before she's headed towards her quarters.
b. random otherwise feel free to send her a text or give her a call to say hi. same with A, she'll be out and about during odd hours of the night or early hours of the day just in different places. ]

A troublemaker, then. I see.
I'm Rover. [ one name. like madonna, or cher. ] I suppose the simplest way to explain my job is that I hunt monsters.
What does 'fieldwork' mean for you?

Wow. They brought in a real expert this time.
[ but a glance over at her answer, assessing. ]
And just about everything the word might encompass. I navigate and know my way around surviving in the wild. From everything to reconnaissance and covert operations, that's where I shine. If there's ever a time when you're out there and unsure of where to go or what to do, I'm one of your best bets.
[ he speaks with pure confidence. notably, his usual over-the-top lilt is missing—he's serious, at least to his degree of it. ]

[ it's nice that he's confident of his skills. it speaks to a professional who's used to a certain kind of job. not something that rover specializes in - she's the bait rather than the spy, after all. he reminds her of aalto, somehow. he even has the same style and look. ]
... how interesting. I'll keep that in mind.
I'm not good with covert operations. But I've experience working with ... operators, as you called them. I hope we get along well in our upcoming missions.

… Haha. It's habit from my previous job. Anyone under my company's considered an operative, no matter their role, so we referred to each other in that manner. It just so happens that I can perform the role of the prototypical one you might be envisioning.
[ By the by, having reliable frontliners makes Elysium's job easier. He can worry less about the actual combat aspect of it which he's middling at, and focus on the logistics of the battlefield instead. ]
