Already they've been hit with the reality of their powerlessness in the wake of the foreign beasts, and frankly it's so painful that's it's borderline crippling. But Yato knows that if he stops he'll be swallowed up by the despair, so onward he goes, still doing what precious little he can to help others. His abilities may be handicapped, but there's still merit in providing support to others' strengths. He just has to be careful not to get overwhelmed, himself, especially by his newly discovered mortality.]
