In my world, your stories always showed humans respecting Godzilla. But it was out of fear and hope rather than a mutual relationship.
If it came down to it, you were strong, they weren't. An alliance built on that isn't a true alliance.
I don't want to see what we have, you included, become an uneven wreck.
