[ Yuji doesn't seem to notice whether or not Ratio is wounded, banged up or otherwise - his natural assumption is that most people were more sensible than he's been and have gone out of their way to clean up and make sure their wounds are better taken care of. Yuji's been relying on his own cursed energy and his healing implant, less concerned about himself and his own recovery than he has been Choso and Nanami and the others; they're the ones that has his heart skipping a beat with panic when he drifts off, waking up with a snap from any doze he gets dragged into.
Ratio's voice makes Yuji hesitate, and it's not because he's embarrassed about how he looks or the fact that he hasn't rested, as if he's anticipating a scolding. Yuji is embarrassed because of how he acted before, the snappish, nasty way he had spoken to someone who was just trying to help him, his own worry overriding any sense of politeness and care he ought to have for the other man. It's not as if Yuji really blamed Ratio for pulling back and giving up on their lessons.
Everything had been hard, for all of them. Yuji would probably have done the same thing.
Slowly, his eyes dance over the man's face before he breathes out, gazing down at his hands. The little marks from his own teeth are beginning to fade, and soon enough his technique would take care of any lingering issues. His heart is still thudding in his chest, though, and his discomfort is obvious, even if he knows that, logically, he should be slipping away to try and take care of himself.
It's not that easy for him. ]
