Either that or maybe their best bet would be to just position their fighters at a set spacing around the room so that no matter where it appears, it'll run into one of them.

As it sinks down into the rift, it slams its claws into the ground, taking up a chunk to throw at its assailants, forcing Yato to dive for the ground or risk getting nailed in the head with a hunk of rock.
Vaguely, he registers Bakugo shouting in return and throws an exasperated glance over his shoulder while he lays there for a moment to have a breather. What the hell is the kid doing...? Some kind of plant?]
