i was dying laughing at this, thank u

Do you not think calling it an experiment seems a bit disrespectful?

[ yet, he seems to have zero disagreements with it.

can he, when he's all but proposed it?

the fact that these are the two adults around this one child... truly speaks to the luck of the draw in which this child surely did not win out. had he remained outside, perhaps he would have been met someone else who could have just as kindly ushered them away into the LILITH cruiser that awaits them somewhere in the outskirts of the small town. instead, he's here between two men who have apparently dropped an inconvenient ultimatum upon his lap.

to draw the weapon and potentially avenge their people, or to put his head down and live to see another day. it's clear by callisto's own gaze that were the boy to agree to the weapon, he wouldn't hesitate to take action against him in turn. he makes no secret of his intentions, or his bloodthirst. a contrast against the almost dead fish eyes that stare back at the two of them. the child doesn't seem to act at all for a few moments.

seconds go by to which may have felt longer for them, before the child seems to pick back up to what he was doing before, as emphatically as he can muster. as if to prove he can follow orders. make himself useful. to be honest, callisto doesn't know if this better or worse.

That was hardly any response at all. I would say he needs more discipline.
