Godzilla proceeds to, perhaps unsurprisingly, start up the reps once again. Gigan's "help" seems to be doing the work though, big guy's actually letting out growls of exertion as he goes.

Adjusting to the new weight gives him time to chew over Gigan's words. Years may as well be weeks to Godzilla, months as hours, days as eye blinks. It goes by so quickly in the grand scale of things, it'll keep going by, leaving him behind as others eventually find their end and go to the world after. Like every Kin and Friend he's had before...

But Gigan's right. Just because the time is short doesn't mean it's not worth having. The people who've become close to Godzilla's heart are people he wouldn't trade knowing for anything. They have brought forth life in him he thought long lost with his days as a fledgling. They make him laugh, they teach him, they learn from him in turn, they have made this place his home. More home than he has had in... far, far too long. ]

There is... wisdom in what you say. [ He racks up the weights, and Gigan, with a grumble. He doesn't move to sit up though, just lays there on the bench glaring up at the ceiling while his tail twitches. ] Yet there remains other vexations. They do not understand the proper way of things. When there is disagreement they react poor to challenge, one can only guess it would be far poorer received in matters of... closer relation.

Vexing... Mothra is my mate in my world of origin, this should be enough. Yet I am not that Godzilla, I am not bound to Mothra as he, I am "ready to partake of the mingle" as they say. Yet my thoughts remain troubled. It seems ill to consider other Outsiders as... courtable.
