[It's impossible to miss the gift-giving spirit being pushed this time of year, either. All the shops are having their biggest sales on their fanciest displays. Advertisements abound! Signage everywhere keeping count of how many days are left until Christmas! Don't forget, there's still time!!!
It is around December 23rd that a message gets posted to the network:]

C. Godzilla vs. Blanketfic (1972)
[No one builds a nest like a kaiju! You humans ain't got nothing on this: a big, lumpy, floppy pile of blankets much larger than any human would need. Is this a monster itself? It does appear in various places around the base, abrupt and uninvited, whenever there is a power outage happening. Blocking a hallway in Brimstone, oozing into the entrance to the Everlight dorms, in the middle of the cafeteria, by that precious fireplace in the library . . . you could stumble over it anywhere while the lights are out. Literally, you might trip on it if you're not careful.
Careful or not, you might also see a head sticking out of the pile, craning back to look up at you.]
You getting in or what? Don't worry, I learned all about this blanket-sharing thing once before! They're not even threatening to freeze us if we don't do it this time!
