It was implied, and a library needs to be cold for proper book storage. Cold dryness is better than hot dryness.

[He's moving, but not towards the library. Nope, heading in the direction of the Redemption rooms. He's tired so off to his room to doze instead of in the middle of a room or hall.

Also he's not going to stop Jamie from following him, or going in the same direction.]
