[It's an understandable desire. Though they don't claim to know everything there is about their home, they've seen what the Backstreets is like, heard stories from the downtrodden. Wherever Silco is from, they can picture it as someplace similar, somewhere the "haves" leave the "have nots" to struggle for themselves, to eke out a living in the blood and the dirt and cling to whatever safety they can find.
They've never had much time to think on it themselves. Nothing beyond the acknowledgment of how awful it is. But it's difficult for them to judge, as well.
After all, how many "have nots" has Mephistopheles devoured in the simple act of going from place to place?
