[ After staying here for a while, Jinwoo finds that the night air is a lot different. Drier, heavier. He hasn't quite gotten used to it, but he's not about to complain. There are worse things to deal with, after all. Like the failing energy grid, the looming threat of an kaiju that might be capable of killing you in your sleep— those are more problematic, in his eyes. Not the heat. Not the way exhaustion tugs at him no matter where he goes.
And definitely not the fact that Cagalli saw him shirtless.
He's won't be entertaining that thought any further, nope.
It was one time. A brief, unfortunate result of his style upgrade malfunctioning at the perfect moment, flickering out of existence for the next little while to make it look like he isn't wearing a shirt under the sweltering desert sun. Not a big deal, he thinks. He barely remembers it.

At least it's a welcome distraction from everything else, albeit just a tad more embarrassing. It's better than worrying about how his mind has felt out of sorts ever since his memories have been shared beyond his control, or how he can't help but feel like this might not be the end of it. It might happen again, or—
