[ She's quiet as he speaks, listening. She's still uncertain how to proceed now. He would've challenged Elan, but that would've only made her more angry at the time. Flustered, in the best case scenario. But as he said, things have been difficult to adjust to. He only ever had to sleep, fight, and occasionally socialize with other Titans. That third one was so small of a percentage compared to the others too. It's been a hell of an adjustment for her too. She's tried to ignore it, but this kind of life just becomes easier and easier which in turn makes her feel guiltier and guiltier for getting so accustomed to it.

He doesn't have to say it out loud, but she can understand. It puts a little smile on her face to see him so out of his element. She is too, after all. ]

I did like him. He had a smartass mouth, but he was genuine and kind. He made me happy for the time he was here...when we were together. But not everyone gets along all the time...so I was a little frustrated too...when you didn't get along.

[ She sighs again and sits down next to him, also letting her feet dangle over the edge. Just that isn't enough for her, however. She reaches up to hold onto his leathery forearm, and her head tilts to rest against his arm as well. ]

I'm happy you're here too. I'm grateful you've been beside me every time I needed help. I've never felt lonely with you here.
