[ Destiny is a machine built for power and speed, neither of which are particularly useful against this relatively small monster or in the confines of a tomb… especially while needing to avoid hitting, stepping on, or squishing an entire group of allies. (Small blessings: at least the Outsiders aren’t fighting in a populated area. Not an area populated by anyone alive, anyway.) Gritting his teeth, Shinn tries to bring the mobile suit in through an area where there isn’t a heavy concentration of Outsiders – but some of those black tendrils shoot out, and he’s forced in the moment to decide whether he wants to let those things get his robot, smash into some allies, or smash into a pile of ancient building blocks.
But there’s really only one option here: with a growl, he opts for the blocks. Destiny jets backward in a burst of pink light, smack into a pile of stone. Building blocks that sat peacefully in this pile for millennia crash down on the robot’s wings, pinning it awkwardly in place, and the pink light fades and then disappears. ]
