I don't disagree. That's what happens when mages are expected to govern themselves, I'm afraid. Magus society values magical ability and strength over the individual. Children born without the gift of magecraft are often discarded and treated poorly by their families. I've always hated this. Because of that, I've devoted my life to hunting fugitive mages. If there's no recourse for their crimes against society, then I'm hardly opposed to taking matters into my own hands.

As for Itto's other comment, it's... heartwarming in a way that feels almost foreign. Kiritsugu is well aware that his harsh personality can be something of a deterrent for others. The idea he can still say something to make a kid happy is comforting. Like he hasn't totally lost his grasp on humanity. )
Oh, thanks. I think you are, too. Being rowdy isn't always bad. So long as your actions aren't harming others, I don't see why others should care, personally.
