(The fun thing about being taken and thrown into a new place is no one really knows you so when Tsurumaru Kuninaga is missing from dinner, he's sure no one really notices. Eventually someone will learn that whenever he's missing for too long, he's probably up to something if he doesn't actually have something to do.

He returns some time towards the end of dinner, when most people have probably begun to settle a bit for the evening. He stumble-dashes back to the base with an armful of plastic shopping bags and oooh he is definitely up to something…)

& SET UP

In the Everlight wing, they need to do some ☆re-arranging☆. Some desks and chairs need to be borrowed from rooms to drag outside for the food. While they're at it, they might as well grab the blankets and pillows too. They might also have to figure out what appropriate music to play. So maybe someone knocks on your door to commandeer your furniture and time. Or maybe they figure out a way to play music so everyone can hear and you end up drawn out by music.

Maybe you get sent out to buy more snacks and drinks for everyone while you're standing around with nothing to do. Let's go, Everlights. It's time to drag people into early shenanigans.

& FOOD & GAMES

There is plenty of food to be found. Check out the mixed bottles of different flavored sodas and teas, assorted chocolates, and other sweets from the convenience stores. Eventually, a couple of pizzas and a few more substantial things might show up on the table. Some of them are traditional flavors characters will be used to seeing but others may… be more out there. There sure are a lot of more experimental foods combinations in the future, huh? Have you ever tried coffee-flavored water? Yogurt-flavored potato chips? Flaming hot lava chocolate? What about calamari Oreo pizza? Well, now is your chance.

There are also stacks of playing cards and maybe some other silly toys and games from whatever is the equivalent of a dollar/pound store in the future.The 100 Kryptos store? Which version of UNO do you know how to play? Do you know how to play Werewolf or Mafia? There are plenty of bottles to spin. Give someone a call and see if they answer or else you have to eat one of those cursed pizza slices. Of course, when enough people gather around, there are plenty of other ways to make your own fun.

& CHILL

For more introverted characters that might want a quieter place to hang out, some Everlight has probably left their room open. Pillows and blankets have been piled into the room to make it a quieter, more laidback place to hang out. When was the last time you made a pillow fort?

Hello, Tsuru gets bored easily and he wants everyone to have ☆good vibes☆ because bad vibes make him sad so he is steamrolling and dragging people into slumber party shenanigans. It's in the Everlight wing but other characters can hop over if they're curious or dragged in. I asked the mods about the potential consequences of staying the night and they said it would be fine for the slumber party so go wild.

[ Sometimes you're a Revelation guy crashing the Everlight slumber party because your own wing is so goddamn quiet. Seriously, what's it take for a guy to wrangle a good conversation out of someone around here? Move to a completely different wing, apparently.

(But if anyone asks, he does technically have an invitation. Thanks Yuji, you're such a bro.)

He's at the buffet table now, squinting down at the calamari Oreo pizza. It's not that he hasn't eaten his fair share of questionable dishes in the past - the Fortress cafeteria was truly a sad state of affairs before he took over as administrator - but now that he has freedom of choice and isn't relegated to eating whatever slop gets dumped onto the tray in his hands, there's really no reason for him to eat dishes that don't appeal to his palate.

Other than morbid curiosity. ]

They do say salty and sweet make for the ideal combination, but I'm not sure that should extend to this...creation here. [ Monstrosity is more like it. ] Have you tried it yet?

[ Hey, anyone's welcome to hang out with the party team, Wriothsley!

Ino grimaces when the pizza is put into her view. ]

I've had both things on there and I don't really like either, let alone together.

[ But after a moment of being distracted by how disgusting that combination sounds, she actually looks up to see who's talking to her ... and does a little bit of a subtle double take when she sees 1) a handsome man standing there and 2) are those ... animal ears? Or hair?

She tucks her hair behind her ear and extends a hand for a handshake, pizza aside, a friendly smile on her face. ]

I don't think we've met, though.

[ Alas, they're just strangely pointed tufts of hair, because Genshin refuses to commit to giving the world more furries.

Her condemnation of the abomination taking up space on the table is enough to convince him that he will not be partaking and orchestrating his own demise via gastrointestinal distress, thank you very much, so it's goodbye pizza and hello to the much more palatable young woman next to him.

He sees the outstretched hand and matches it with one of his one, grip solid and steady. ]

It's Wriothesley. [ Pronounced Rise-ly. ] I'm supposed to be over on Team [ what was it again ] Revelation, but it's been terribly quiet over there. You'd think the hallways were haunted or something.

[ino]

[ Tragic. Truly tragic. The world could have had a whole other wolf boy.

Her grip is surprisingly strong as well, given how small and lithe she looks. But she shakes his hand back, and lets out a little laugh at his assessment of the Revelations area. ]

Given who I know over there, that makes sense. They like their peace and quiet. I guess that makes us the outgoing group?

[ He takes note of the strength behind her grip, shuffling that information away for later. His expression never changes though, remaining casual and polite. ]

Oh, who do you know over there? Maybe you can give me a few pointers on how to get some of my neighbors to open up.

[ Sandwiched between two of the Narutos as he is...though at least the guy named Kakashi seems less gloom and doom than the rest of them. ]

Kakashi and Sasuke are both from the same village as me. [ She has yet to learn of Itachi being here, too, but that's a whole OTHER thing ... ]

You won't have much luck on that one with Sasuke, but Kakashi-sensei would probably be your friend if you brought him indecent magazines or something like that.

[ She pauses, realizing he's given her his name but she hasn't returned the favor. ]

Oh! I'm Ino, by the way.

A pleasure, Miss Ino.

[ It never hurts to be polite. Especially if she holds the secrets to getting his teammates to open up a little. Now free of the handshake, he reaches up to tap at his chin, expression thoughtful. ]

Kakashi, huh? I'll have to keep an eye out for him then. [ Even if he's definitely lacking in the bribery material department. ] It must be nice for you to have a few familiar faces from back home though.

[ino]

Ehhh ...

[ She laughs, a little nervously. ]

It's a little complicated, honestly ...

[ The familiarity was nice, in a way, and it had been good to see Kakashi. But at the same time, she had to explain the future to Kakashi, and Sasuke was ... well, as Sasuke as ever. ]

But at the very least, I'm thankful it's not as bad as it could have been.

[ He doesn't miss the thread of nervousness that winds through her voice, but given that he knows nothing about her circumstances both before and after arriving here. It's a little too soon to start asking personal questions right away.

Now that he's veto'd the oreo calamari pizza, he leans over to inspect the other offerings on the table. ]

True, we could have been told to go fight the kaiju right away instead of being given a chance to prepare beforehand.

[ Or even landed in the stomach of one right off the bat? Things to think about. ]

Yeah, imagine being thrown into a battle like that firsthand.

[ It certainly wouldn't have been ideal, no matter how adaptable she's been trained to be. ]

Not a fan, honestly. Though I imagine most people feel the same. Getting kidnapped by someone who's apparently been watching your every move since forever is kind of creepy.

[ She puts a hand on her hip, looking at him with one eyebrow raised. ]

Well, it's been nice getting out of my office for an extended period of time.

[ He says it lightly, almost as if it's some sort of joke, hand reaching out to grab one of the little pita breads on the table. Bread is always safe, right....? ]

More seriously [ and he does actually sound serious now ], I can't say I like it either. Being kidnapped or having some weird little device planted into my head. [ With a tap against the side of his head for emphasis. ] But at the same time, I don't think it's a wise idea to immediately storm the headquarters of whoever's in charge demanding we all be returned.

[ Seems like such an act would just land them in more hot water. ]

Mm ... [ She frowns a little at his mention of the implant. She's also not a huge fan of that, all things considered. The idea of having something surgically put in her against her will while unconscious makes her discomfort run bone-deep. ]

No, I don't think that's a good idea, either. I'd like to learn more about what we're dealing with first before making any sort of move.

[ She lowers her voice a little, in a more conspiratorial fashion. ]

I have heard that these implants can be overloaded, though.
