A. Post-Surgery
[ Choices were made. March may or may not regret them a little, but upon remembering things like how badly injured so many of the Outsiders had been and Ishmael gritting her teeth while struggling to walk, she'd ultimately decided it was worth it.
Maybe not right now, though, not when she's kind of staggering around the base, looking very much Still In Pain and sheet-white. Of course, that's one thing. The other thing is that she looks completely disoriented and depending on where you find her, it's pretty obvious that it's not where she was trying to go. Maybe it's a non-Redemption wing. Maybe it's the cafeteria.
Maybe it's the rec room?? Maybe she's actually heading outside when she clearly shouldn't be??
If you're still not entirely sure what she's up to, she can be heard quietly muttering to herself in a shaky voice, definitely rattled-- ]
W-why is it so hard to find my room??
B. Compass Required
[ It's a day or so later! And she is.
... Not doing any better. Though at the very least, she's had some time to get the style upgrade implemented and is comfortably clothed in her much more familiar (to her) outfit from home.
But she hasn't actually been seen on the base all day, which probably isn't terribly strange, since March likes to go out and experience life, but at this point it's dark and if you're out at night, you might spot her. Talking to a few people who seem either amused or flummoxed by her current level of vexation. ]
No, sorry, I've definitely been to Shinjuku, and I know where it is on a map, I just--
I'm not drunk! Look, just tell me "this way" or "that way" and I'll figure it out from there!!
[ ... She has apparently been dealing with something similar for hours, given that she really does sound like she's on the verge of frustrated tears. ]
C. Bah Hummingbird
[ At this point, March has given up leaving the base on her own, so you can spot her in the greenhouse (though it's arguable whether she meant to be there or not), a cute little hummingbird perched on her shoulder. She's taking pictures of the plants, though she pauses to glance up when she realizes she's got company, offering a smile that is definitely a lot steadier than the mess she's been over the past few days. ]
These little guys are pretty cute, aren't they? I'm more of a dog person, but I gotta admit, they've got a lot of appeal!

Once they reach Redemption hall, he'll ask March for the room number so he can help get her inside and sitting down. Or laying down, if she needs, which from the looks of her, she might. Once she's comfortable, he'll sit nearby, simply offering his hand towards her.]
It shouldn't take too long, alright? Just try to relax.

[ Well, he understands the pain, having gone through it. She has to remember that, and also that this guy she still barely knows is being kind enough to help her to an extent she wouldn't expect from a new acquaintance. But March curls up in a little ball on her purple-pink bedspread (and thankfully, her room is the first in the hall) and takes Raidou's hand.
... Ugh, she feels sick. ]
Thanks again... for this. If anyone asks, I was cute the entire time, okay...?
[ March. March, please. ]

[That's the luck of running into Raidou, who's out to help everyone at the drop of a hat.
His hand closes gently around hers as he closes his eyes, trying to concentrate.
It seems to help, though he wonders if it's all in his head.
He can't help but sound a little amused at that.]
Your secret is safe with me. And you don't have to tell anyone that the strange summoner of Everlight had to hold your hand to fix you.
no subject
[ But she gives his hand a squeeze--maybe to let him know she can tell it's helping. Even if he likely already knows that? He's done this before? ]

All manner of supernatural creatures, what we generally refer to as demons or devils. Though I suppose, not any longer. I don't have any here with me.
[A simple statement of fact. It still pains him, but he's getting more and more used to the idea that he really isn't a summoner anymore.]
Strange former summoner, then.
no subject
[ She is not sure if she wants to see anyone summoning demons, but you know, it might be interesting. ]
no subject
[This place might not have demons as he knows them, but there are similar beings, even among the Outsiders. Things like curses, for example.
He's quiet for a moment, Raidou often needing to think about his words before speaking them.]
I wonder, though, if some of us are meant to be something different here than we were at home.
no subject
[ A pause, because maybe that's true. It had come up when she'd learned about Ryoji's nature. ]
... I guess so. It might not be a bad thing.
no subject
[And some direction he desperately wishes he had.]
This time and place is pretty different from my own. It claims to be the same country, it's over 350 years in my future. While it's been difficult adjusting, it's not a bad thing. Just different now.

... Is it rough, seeing it like this? I feel like it really must have been beautiful in different parts, years ago.

no subject
... I'm not sure I'd be able to. Or that I'd even know it was my own era, I guess.
no subject
Do you know know where you're from? Or, ah, when?

[He blinks. Who could concentrate now?]
And do you not know how you got there?
no subject
[ Surprise! ]
no subject
[She did say "in space", didn't she...]
Did those who found you have any ideas?
no subject
[ Understandably. ]
I owe them my everything, though.
no subject
[What are the chances? She could have been out there forever...]
How are you feeling? Any better yet?
no subject
[ This ability is seriously no joke. ]
Thanks a lot for your help--coffee or tea on me sometime?
no subject
... Once you're better and can find it, I suppose.
no subject
[ She's joking, probably. ]
no subject
[He gets jokes sometimes! It happens!]
