Now I sort of wish I was the person you were into, actually, since I'm pretty sure both of the people interested in me are the type to step back.

I'm the same as you though. I don't like backing down or giving up, though I will if asked, it's just until then I'll give it my all. I won't make the same mistake I did before either.
