[ well, he did say he's going to show her how his equipment works before she sets out on her own solo camp. she just didn't think it'd be this soon, is all. then again, with all the funeral prep and other urgent matters the two of them had to attend to beforehand, it's practically a miracle that they managed to settle on a final date for their getaway.

there was one thing that's been on ishmael's mind as she and elysium make it out of the city via his bike. it's nothing too serious this time, don't worry. she still has to pay attention to the route they're taking and the various landmarks they come across in their trip, and the last thing she wants is for her mind to linger on too many depressing thoughts. ]

Should I get a motorbike too?

The hoverboard doesn't exactly have storage space to stash anything, right? Sure, you can manage with just a backpack, but having more room is pretty convenient. That's how I used to travel, actually. There's just no point in forsaking comfort if you don't have to.

A car's convenient, but I prefer the feeling of the wind against your face when riding one of those bikes for these excursions. Makes you feel even more in touch with nature.

Depending on where and when you're planning to travel, a car does offer the added benefit of protection from the elements when you need it. They also tend to handle most weather conditions better than the other options. [ loose shrug; sure is nice having a pack rat. ] Pros and cons. Something to consider for sure now that we're moving into winter.
