[ due to the curse of being a single party of one, he naturally gets slotted to the bar seat. while the restaurant isn't exactly packed, he doesn't necessarily see the detriment of one seat over another and so he complies without a word of complaint.

what he doesn't expect, however, is to be met with a somewhat familiar face. while it's a gradual recognition that comes to him (so gradual in fact that he doesn't recognize him for a good minute), he does tilt his head slightly towards one of the featured menu items. ] Get me one of that.

In all fairness to Elysium (no), he does have a near eidetic memory. With a thoughtful look, there's a fraction of a second as he tries to parse the validity of Yuwon's recognition, and when he comes up short, what's left is a knowing grin. ]

almost as if elysium didn't just make a joke right now. he seems to stare at him, as if it were his objective to make the silence as uncomfortable as possible, before he eventually speaks up. ] I'd say if you're on my radar, it's probably not a good thing.

[ At least he's saying these words more in humour than anything else. If he were actually flirting? I'd perish. But, Yuwon does manage to surprise him with his words, leaving him blinking almost owlishly. ]

I would try you, but something tells me it would end up being a hassle. [ he retorts back easily, but there's also not too much weight in his words. still, there probably is something that can be said about someone who side steps words like that without batting an eye. ]

[ It really would… not only would it be a hassle, but no one would come out a victor. Unfortunately for Yuwon though, Elysium is the sort to find an affinity in everyone he speaks to… whether they balk or smoothly reflect his words back at him, it's the variety of responses that has him brimming with delight.

[ it's true that yuwon naturally makes a lot of assumptions. it's no secret that he wears his judgment and perceptions quite clearly. he tended to be blunt and not mince his words, either, which is why he seems to be made certain that there was some misstep on elysium's part here. though, he does present one sliver of evidence: ]

[ despite how set he sounds, it's true that he wasn't stubborn enough to ignore a potential truth if it seemed to hold water. hence, he now is a bit curious to see what the issue was. ]

There's just not much else you can do after something's already been done. If you're truly sorry, isn't it best to show it through your actions? I let them know it wouldn't happen again.
