( his fluster doesn't deter her, if anything in some strange way it's almost... nice to be met with someone so expressive, reminds her a little of each of her friends that waited back home — cloud in his pessimistic gloom, aerith in the way she unforgivingly over-brimmed, barret's rashness — all cocktailed into one individual. and so the subtle if not still uneasy smile that finds her lips isn't in amusement so much as it is softened fondly by memory. )

I think that might be a safe guess. ( as much as the organization might strive to create some sort of community between the outsiders, it's a bit difficult to forget that they'd all been brought here against their own will.

still, she can't shake the thought that they might be listening — she's yet to learn the full capability of the implants, but she knows better than to think they'd give them a full briefing, case and point being outfits they quite literally couldn't change. )

( the smile that warms across her brims at his proper salute pulls her from the tension of the room, and she can't help but to straighten up herself, lacing fingers at the small of her back and giving a tiny bow in greeting. )

Well, it's nice to meet you too, Colonel. ( a glance to his papers, and then one back to the line that waits unwaveringly behind them. ) I don't think this'll be moving anytime soon.

[ With the salute out of the way, the hand comes back down as Yzak follows her gaze to the line. The ... ever-growing and barely-if-at-all-moving line. He grimaces, because he doesn't want to be here all day, either. Especially when he knows he did what he had to do more than once! And he has a feeling that if he stayed and resubmitted, he'd just be getting called back again later to repeat the process.

There's a brief glance down at his maid outfit. He doesn't like the idea of wandering around looking like this ... but at the very least, he's not alone there and singled out in the embarrassment, so the absurdity is shared between a lot of them right now and makes it a little less overwhelming than it would have been otherwise. ]

Exploring...? Sure. I haven't yet gotten the chance to look at the wings that the other teams are staying in, though I imagine they're more or less the same as mine.
