( He doesn't exactly want to go fucking around with something he's not sure of, especially when it's been made a part of him. It still sits sourly in his stomach, the fact that he hadn't had a choice, an anger that fizzles away in his brain no matter how hard he tries to focus on anything else. )
We could try ignoring our orders, but I don't know if that would matter. I refused to answer something earlier and it plucked the thought from my head instead. If it can do that it can presumably do other things. It might be better to see if anyone else has attempted to try before us either way. We're new. We'll be more closely watched.
