May Catch-All
WHO: Shizuka Takeda and [YOU]
WHAT: Various. Training, feeding stray cats, custom starters
WHERE: Various. Base, Neo-Tokyo, Outside The City.
WHEN: All throughout May, before or after the Vegas excursion.
WARNINGS: Shizuka is the type to get physical and violent when annoyed, but she will try not to, just a fair warning. No age restrictions yet, but will adjust when needed.
Shizuka is not the most social of people. Even after she heard there's some newcomers in the base, she didn't pay them any mind aside from just vaguely seeing some of them in the cafeteria and the rest of the base. Always with a big katana on her these past couple of months, now she is seen around with two swords on her side, just stomping around from point a to b without so much as an acknowledging glance at the other Outsiders. If you're lucky you might have gotten a grunt in response.
But with her being out and about, this is a good chance to actually meet her. Who knows, she could make for a good ally, or an enemy...
[ OOC: None of these work for you? Let me know and I'll write you a custom starter! ]

Haven't found something you liked?
[She's curious, this whole picking and changing jobs thing is very new to her. She knows people do it, but up until recently she hasn't. So it's new territory for her.]

[ Shizuka rolls her eyes a little, choosing to answer curtly instead. A sarcastic comment would have taken a few more words ]
There isn't a lot of jobs that robots can't just do.
[ So there's really no surplus of places hiring right now. Shizuka knows that humans will always be favored over the robots when a human wants a job in a certain place, but she also feels picky. But more... lost, than anything. A nerve is unwittingly struck by this line of thinking, reminding Shizuka of her depressive struggle to find a purpose. ]

[Though there are some things she prefers the human touch for, it really is remarkable. And no, she won't visibly react to the eye roll or shortness of the answer. No, even the sarcastic comment probably wouldn't have gotten a reaction if it had happened.]
But that aside, what would you like to do?
[Seems like a good starting point if you ask Makima. After all, it's a question that in regards to employment, she's had to give some thought to recently as well.]

[ All of her life she's been nothing but an instrument of destruction. While she will stay the same, she at least wants to try to do build and create and help. ]

[Nothing close to a word there, just a small noise of agreement. Being productive is nice. She appreciates that.]
I'm tempted to suggest something in construction. Doesn't seem like there's any shortage of need for that and a human touch is probably still needed. But I don't know if that's something you're interested in. Either way, I do hope you find what you're looking for. It's really fulfilling when your job and your interests line up.

[ She huffs, tossing her towel aside the general area her personal effects are occupying. She's far from done with today's exercise, and with her lack of a social life anyway, what else is she gonna do? ]
Are you speaking from experience? I doubt a concierge job is satisfying.

[There's an unhappy look on her face for a couple moments here.]
I feel like I stuck with it longer than I should have.
[Because the whole idea of changing jobs just isn't something she's done. She's spent her whole life in Public Safety so the idea of quitting and finding a different employer is an odd concept to her.]
