She does watch him carefully with one grey eye and one gold, but he appears steady enough to... well. Sit up. More than Netzach's really managing. ]

The name's Gebura. I don't exactly know you either but that guy Elysium's a pain in the ass so I don't really need another reason to step in.

[ And throttle him. Or at least save the man of the hour. ]

[ You know what? That's all the answer he needs. The enemy of his enemy is his ally, etc. Please wait a moment while he hops off his stool, stands still a moment to make sure the world isn't wobbling crazily around him, and then proceeds to head her way (at an admittedly slower pace than he normally would). ]

Looks like I owe you a favor then for getting me out of here.

I'll keep that in mind. I need to bring my coworkers with me, but you should be able to walk out with me without a problem.

[ Elysium is stumbling like a corpse at this point, and while his efforts to shackle Wriothesley to the hellscape that was Elysium's own making had been fruitful for the greater half of the day, there's no denying his vigilance would deteriorate by the end of it, and exponentially at that as they wound closer to the end of it. Perhaps it'd be more accurate to say the start of the next, but…

Anyway. This is him, catching Gebura red-handed. Or at least Wriothesley red-handed, because he can't quite make her out with Wriothesley covering most of his periphery. ]

He—ey…!!! Wwwwwrioooooooo… Brio… briochely… [ … ] Riley!!! [ that's his new government-assigned 4Kids name ] Where do you think you're going?

[ He practically barrels into the guy, head first, slipping his arm through the crook of Wriothesley's as if to both to regain his balance and anchor him down. Except, when he groggily peers over his side, he jolts back and pushes the poor guy forward—and almost falls over. It's as if it's an instinctive reaction—but they didn't know each other long enough for one to have been born yet, have they? ]

Eep! Ca-captain Ma—… Gebura!! Ehehehe, never mind, move along, move along. If you're sure you don't want to stay and play, go right ahead!

[ i just wanted to harass wriothesley at least once in a tag ok thank you; the man's been jailed long enough and may now be Released ]

[ Looks again at that big-ass sword. Yeah.

Or rather, he tries to, except then there's a warm body suddenly colliding with his and the very strong scent of alcohol hovering around his face. Also: that very, very mangled pronounciation of his name. (And yet he's probably still heard worse than Briocheley?)

Thankfully, he's saved from having to shove a drunkard off him when said drunkard looks up and immediately skitters away, something akin to fear creeping into his slurred voice. Wriothesley looks at Elysium. He looks at Gebura. ]

You'll have to teach me your ways.

[ What is her secret??? In the meantime, he can pretend to be helpful. ]

Who are your coworkers? Maybe I can help walk them back.

[ Gebura just looks between the pair of them, one hand tightening around the hilt of her sword as though she's debating the use of it--but Elysium backs off fairly quickly (and oh he is drunk) so she sighs under her breath instead. ]

You shouldn't stick around for much longer yourself; I'm not peeling you off the floor.

[ And to Wriothesley-- ]

Netzach and Yesod. They shouldn't be too much trouble.

[ Because one is Yesod and the other is Very Drunk. ]

[ Ah, the purple and green one. Also, one of them is apparently a box??? He's learned so much today. Though, pardon him while he slowly blinks at this reveal and turns over a few thoughts in his head before finally (slowly) replying with a question. ]

Can you also change your appearance?

Not anymore and it wasn't exactly changing my appearance. I'm close enough to human now, I guess.

[ He repeats after her, a little dry. What does that even MEAN..... ]

I hope that's a good thing for you. [ And not something she was forced into. ]

[ Some people just don't let you stay dead. Tragic. ]

It's more human than I've felt in a while, so I can't really complain. And I'm not really being forced to do anything here.

So you're really here picking up your coworkers and a man you've never met out of the goodness of your heart.

[ He drawls it out a little sarcastically, but there's a note of appreciation all the same. ]

I'm not that kind. [ With a slight furrow of her brows. ]

Like I said before, I came to get you to throw a wrench in Elysium's plans. [ Maybe she felt bad for Wriothesley, potentially, but she's not saying that. ]

And when I realized those two were here, I knew Malkuth wouldn't shut up if she knew I left them here without making sure they made it back. [ Also they're her coworkers and she will protect them at the cost of many lives and her own-- ]

[ He has been connecting so many dots in his head tonight, despite the copious amounts of alcohol flowing. ]

Is Malkuth also one of your coworkers then?

She is. All three of them. I'm aware of Ishmael and a few others being from the same place, too.

Must be nice, having some familiar faces around.

[ Even if some of them are quite drunk. ]

Just means more work for me, honestly. Can't even catch a break in a different place entirely.
