I was wondering about your sword. And those two. [ vague gestures at netzach and yesod ] How do you know them?

[ Gebura offers him a glance that reveals nothing, before her gaze flicks ahead. ]

Those two are my colleagues back home. [ Simple enough and she has no problem admitting to it. They're not a weakness and, even if they were, she's not worried about being able to protect them. ]

As for the sword, that's a little more complicated. Do you want to know why it looks the way it does?

[ looking between them and her.... he isn't at all bothered by the brusque answers and stoic body language. if she talked down to him or ignored him it'd be just like in the emperor's coven! ] Are you from... the City?

[ if they're from the same place.... like malkuth? ]

Is that actually flesh or some kind of enchantment?

I'm from the City, yeah. [ How much he knows about that place remains to be seen and she doesn't offer a whole lot of clarification. There's no point in doing so, so her gaze lowers to Mimicry. ]

It's not an enchantment. It's a weapon formed from an Abnormality--a monster, I guess you could call it. So yes, the flesh is real. It's got a mind of its own, you could say, though it can't act independently.

With the busses, right? [ he says the word "busses" like it's something strange and exotic. incredible. it's questionable how much he knows about it.... ]

[ on the other hand, he continues to look curious about the sword as they walk, truly acting like this is something completely normal ]

You must have a strong will to keep it in check.

Well, it's a pain even now. So I don't recommend touching it, even if you're just as stubborn. You start off barely able to understand it until it becomes next to impossible to ignore.

It takes more than being stubborn to fight off the control of a cursed object.

[ this is also kind of a compliment.... he does look at it, but doesn't seem compelled to try to touch it ]

No. Just its nature. You get that kind of thing from any E.G.O. weapon. You're dealing with something that can get inside your head, after all, with a will of its own.
