[ he doesn't actually believe it, but it's a false and ingenuine inquiry he makes regardless. still, he seems to give an easy enough shrug. though as soon as it lands on the newly established rule, he does give a good pause. followed by a quick and easy sigh. ]

there's a certain flatness to which he addresses wriothesley's sudden shift in energy. regardless, he knows debt isn't everyone's preference, so he doesn't actually think it holds any water. which is why beyond giving him the look, he seems to brush it off. ]

Just shut up and drink. [ is all he offers back, before lifting the shot to his lips. he drinks it down just like that.

But that lore is neither here nor there, during this wild night of partying with reckless abandon....though Yuwon looks surprisingly sober? Maybe the man just doesn't like to drink. Then again, here he sits, with a waiting glass in his hands. Best not to think about that too much.

Wriothesley lifts up his own glass in a small toast before knocking his shot back, grimacing slightly as the alcohol burns down his throat. He's going to need to slow down soon unless he wants to get wasted real fast. Maybe it's the alcohol that has him smiling at that comment. ]

unfortunately, it's because he is. though, he isn't sure if being inebriated would make this situation better or worse. truly better left unexplored for both their collective sanities.
