thankfully, this is wriothesley's bachelor party and no one else's. not that it would matter who it was for as long as it wasn't explicitly made in his name. whatever the case, it's a fact that he takes solace in. especially, the more he speaks to elysium. (not that he had anything against him in all his easy apathy, but... listen). ] I don't need a bro like you. [ he isn't ready to be your squidward hyung.

Look, Yuwon stares and the abyss (Elysium) stares right back. He's hardly shy about meeting other people's gazes, and he enjoys the challenge, even, of seeing other people cow away when he holds it for too long. Not that he thinks Yuwon would be intimidated or get shy—but, damn, those are the exact opposite words to say to someone who doggedly pursues friendships where he shouldn't be.

it's a bit surprising how set elysium is on pursuing this line of conversation. as far as he knows, most people would have readily exited by now, if just because it simply wasn't worth bothering. rather, if the roles were reversed, he would have long been out of here. despite that, his tenacity ends up reminding him of another silver-haired individual from home, however brief. or perhaps, it's just the tomfoolery reminding him of son ohgong.
except, no matter what foolishness elysium sparks alongside his actions, this party included, it's true that he seemed far more insightful and clever than the great sage, heaven's equal. ... not that it's saying a lot, but listen. elysium doesn't strike him as being dumb. if anything, even now... he almost strikes yuwon as being someone kind of ███████ — pending his actual impression. ] You say that because you haven't experienced it yet. Regardless. For how much Yuwon's assessing Elysium, there's dissonance to be found in how Elysium is… head empty. If anything, he is more focused on enjoying the moment as it is—from the feel of the water they're submerged in, the weather, and sure, to an extent—his company. Still, he's not thinking too deeply about the interaction. ]

Isn't the word trivial pretty subjective? [ he gives him a pointed look at that, clearly not desiring to elysium the full satisfaction of knowing he's right. to a degree, it isn't a lie to state that yuwon didn't have much of a threshold for things outside of the scope of his objectives. ... and that's only really shifted a bit now.
