[ In an alternate timeline where Izou follows through with the strangling, Elysium would be yelping (dramatically) about violence and getting them both escorted off and banned from the premises… It's a good thing, then, that the timeline doesn't follow through, and Elysium is perfectly content settling where he does.

To his standard, anyway, because what Izou says next merits something of a whine. ]

One side's awfully permanent while the other's kind of stingy, don't you think?

[ In a more personal environment, Elysium's answer to unfair stakes would be along the lines of sleight of hand or other various means of trickery… but, in the gambling capital of the world, he doubts it'll fly. There's a fraction of a second where his gaze is uncharacteristically sharp despite his state of intoxication, contemplating the odds, their environment, and every factor that'd surround the "bet," before he chuckles and decides to ultimately leave it to lady luck. It wouldn't be the first time he's done so, and isn't he due for a jackpot after a particularly bad string of it? ]

But, fine. Add in that you'll have to tell me about yourself, too. [ He winks, back to form. ] Let's get started, shall we?

[ i'll leave it to you if you want to have it go in a set direction or leave it to a d20 or whatever else as i'm personally fine with both directions. either way, i'm crying at how this was my result………?? ]

( honestly, he hadn't given the conditions much thought beyond, "i wanna be rid of this guy as soon as possible," and it shows. he snorts at the comment, ready to lock in and win this thing so he can move on to focus on bigger fish: winning enough kryptos to safely get shitfaced and still have enough leftover for miscellaneous expenses. it's not like they knew how much LILITH was willing to throw at them beforehand for these monster-killing excursions, it seeming to change every time for a certain someone who didn't pay enough attention.

( izou's confidence lies in a pretty decent card he was just dealt, but as we know from my amazing roll, all will soon come to nought. "i'll win it back all at once", was the thought at play here, and when it all falls through at the end the sinking realization of his loss sets in with a scream of agony and hands scratching at the sides of his head: )
