(Through it all, he keeps himself together. He's always taken pride in his ability to control himself, to keep himself composed, and he isn't going to let himself crumble now. He especially isn't going to let himself fall apart in front of Aki.

But his heart starts to pound and his blood begins to rush in his ears as he lets Aki handle him. He isn't stupid. He can see the signs. He can read the situation. He knows where this is going and his ears are filled only with the pounding, echoing sound of his heart beating. For a moment, he thinks it might even be matching with Aki's and he holds his breath.

He can barely keep up with him as he speaks and each word hits him, making his heart twist and beat and flip and do things he didn't know a heart could even do and it's like each one is an attack, striking at his defenses, chipping away at the control he has and...

He starts to cry.

He doesn't know why he's crying. It's not like he's sad. He isn't sad. If anything, he's happy, he thinks. So why is he crying? Staring at Aki, eyes bright with tears,)
