[ Though faint, Megumi feels his energy before he sees him - the aura of the other boy that always had a hint of malevolence to it (it doesn't suit him, but he knows where that comes from). The moment he picks up on it, he's following it immediately with desperation, not wanting to lose sight of Yuji for even a moment. They only just reunited the last he remembers, and he doesn't want to be separated again. Bad things happen when they separate after all (and worst things happen when they stay together, but Megumi doesn't know that yet).

Shifting through the busy Christmas crowd, Megumi finally gets close enough to see that familiar tuff of pink hair, and he grabs the other boy by the arm, roughly demanding his attention. ]

[ Yuji is panicked as soon as he realises that Fushiguro is here - he can remember the sound of Sukuna's voice hissing out that word, the sudden, ominous fear that had overtaken him, the way that gaze had shifted to his friend. With everything that had happened in a few short moments, it was impossible for him to ignore the threat of what was going to happen: something awful was going to take Fushiguro.

He wished he understood it better, but he doesn't, and that has to be one of his biggest failings.

The hand around his arm makes him jump a little, but then his eyes are widening, his expression nervous, afraid. ]
