HANGAR LOG [open]
WHO: robots and YOU
WHAT: catchall sort of thing for robot pilots, robot enjoyers, and perhaps even robot haters.
WHERE: the hangar
WHEN: mumble mumble september
WARNINGS: discussions of Canon-Typical Violence, probably
LILITH's hangar is a wonderland of mechanical delights, if you're some kind of robot nerd. Beyond the base's personnel transport, fleet of camper vans and a bevy of personal vehicles, there are GIANT ROBOTS. Or...they were giant robots. Now they're considerably smaller. But still cool!!
With robots come pilots, tending to their mechs or checking out everyone else's, or maybe just chillaxing in here if they need a moment's peace. Of course, being that the hangar is open, pilots aren't the only Outsiders in here; anyone can just waltz on in and ogle whatever is here. (Tampering with the robots is ill-advised, however.)
[OOC: standard mingle log rules apply: toplevel with your characters, tag out, enjoy. mecha-canon characters and non-mecha peeps alike are more than welcome!]

Yzak is really focused on his task, so much so that he isn't aware of Gigan's presence until he Appears. ]
—what the hell!?
[ He shoots straight up, properly startled. And that quickly turns into annoyance at being interrupted. But even that annoyance is only so powerful against the subject of said immense physical prowess. ]
I'm in the middle of something, idiot! But yes this is my primary means of fighting out there!

[He bumps up annoyingly against Yzak's side. The thing about Gigan bumping up against someone annoyingly is that he knows where all his blades are, and how to be safe about it, but you probably don't want to wiggle around too much when he decides to get close.]

[ His own machine and Dearka's, while similar enough to note are still shrunken differently.
Yzak eyes Gigan when he bumps against him, very aware of all of his sharp parts. He ..... takes a small step to the side. Personal bubble!! ]
It doesn't have a proper cockpit like my partner's. It used to— it should, if it was the correct size! [ GRUMBLED!! MAD!! He's still so mad this thing is so small! ] But it's been altered so I can climb in and link my ocular device to its operating system, so it essentially still feels like I'm in one.

[There's no way the mobile suit is as big as he is, surely, not if a human pilots it. But even if it is, that sounds like fun. Hmm, there's nothing stopping them from just doing that now, either . . . this thought process may be obvious in the way Gigan turns to look the Gundam over again, considering.]

[ He SEES those gears turning. ]
But, our mobile suits are normally about twenty meters in height. I wish LILITH would have put in the extra effort or ability or whatever they lack there to bring them in as is.
It wasn't fun having to adjust to a new way to pilot it, even though I mastered it quickly. [ Said with that air of OBVIOSULY!! ]

[He laughs just to be an ass about this; that's pretty impressive for something human-piloted and directly mobile like that, and it surely takes some skill to engineer and pilot. But it's also only a third of Gigan's size, and Yzak gets so crabby about things that that feels worth chuckling performatively at.]
You sure you don't want me to chase you around in it? I dunno, sounds like it might be good training for real! And fun for me!

[ He gives Gigan a very pointed once-over.]
That's clearly not the only thing you can do!

[So maybe don't get caught, Yzak! He laughs again because it's actually funny this time, flicking his tail merrily back and forth.]
I was just trying to give you a fighting chance! I didn't think you'd wanna skip right to the part where I chop you up.
DID NOT LOSE THIS TAG I SWEAR (lying)
Chop me up!? Like hell I'd let you'd do something like that!
You wouldn't catch me in the first place!

[Gigan is so often all talk, but this particular bet is a decent one; he's never actually met a kaiju that's faster than he is, even within the atmosphere, which is only a fraction of his speed through space. He's gotta be good for something! And it's being fast!]
