HANGAR LOG [open]
WHO: robots and YOU
WHAT: catchall sort of thing for robot pilots, robot enjoyers, and perhaps even robot haters.
WHERE: the hangar
WHEN: mumble mumble september
WARNINGS: discussions of Canon-Typical Violence, probably
LILITH's hangar is a wonderland of mechanical delights, if you're some kind of robot nerd. Beyond the base's personnel transport, fleet of camper vans and a bevy of personal vehicles, there are GIANT ROBOTS. Or...they were giant robots. Now they're considerably smaller. But still cool!!
With robots come pilots, tending to their mechs or checking out everyone else's, or maybe just chillaxing in here if they need a moment's peace. Of course, being that the hangar is open, pilots aren't the only Outsiders in here; anyone can just waltz on in and ogle whatever is here. (Tampering with the robots is ill-advised, however.)
[OOC: standard mingle log rules apply: toplevel with your characters, tag out, enjoy. mecha-canon characters and non-mecha peeps alike are more than welcome!]

Where'd you get an airforce small enough to fit in your pocket?
[ Maybe the next generation of mobile suits should be remote piloted, that would spare him a lot of grief!
Luckily the shield holds against the barrage leaving his suit undamaged, and her good aim means LILITH won't be coming at his paycheck for hangar repair. He can feel his suit jolt as the forcefield repels the ammo, and he plants its feet more firmly on the ground to brace for the next wave. Pharact, or the pilot inside it, even makes a beckoning motion with its hand. ]

I'm an aircraft carrier, it comes with the territory.
[ She doesn't elaborate further just yet, focusing instead on getting a feel for her plane. It's the first time she's had one firing live rounds outside the simulations, she needs to be sure nothing is off.
While she's doing that a second zero takes off from her flight deck and repeats the same climb as the first, while the first pulls out of its strafe and goes into a circling holding pattern. ]
Cannons next. Twenty millimeter, armor piercing. Brace yourself.
[ And there goes the roar of the little plane as it angles in for its attack, the cannons ringing to life with a heavy boom as the shells plant dead on target.
Kaga can't help herself, she's fully grinning now while her tails wag happily. Even a simple test like this is enough to bring out her love for combat. Girl's got issues. ]

[ Elan takes her words to mean she's the captain of the carrier than a carrier literally. Perhaps in her world all captains are foxes, but he doesn't hide how bizarre it is to him. Maybe he's being too brazen with his words for someone who has cannons being pointed at him right this moment! The booming echoes in the hangar as the bombs make contact and his vision lights up with the shelling, kept at a safe distance by the shield - so far. ]
Armor piercing, huh? I'm starting to think I should have taken this test to the sims!
