HANGAR LOG [open]
WHO: robots and YOU
WHAT: catchall sort of thing for robot pilots, robot enjoyers, and perhaps even robot haters.
WHERE: the hangar
WHEN: mumble mumble september
WARNINGS: discussions of Canon-Typical Violence, probably
LILITH's hangar is a wonderland of mechanical delights, if you're some kind of robot nerd. Beyond the base's personnel transport, fleet of camper vans and a bevy of personal vehicles, there are GIANT ROBOTS. Or...they were giant robots. Now they're considerably smaller. But still cool!!
With robots come pilots, tending to their mechs or checking out everyone else's, or maybe just chillaxing in here if they need a moment's peace. Of course, being that the hangar is open, pilots aren't the only Outsiders in here; anyone can just waltz on in and ogle whatever is here. (Tampering with the robots is ill-advised, however.)
[OOC: standard mingle log rules apply: toplevel with your characters, tag out, enjoy. mecha-canon characters and non-mecha peeps alike are more than welcome!]

And the explanation ... somewhat helps. Yzak is still fussed, questioning. ]
What, so you have something similar to what our machines do? Wouldn't that make you as much of the risk you're claiming them to be if something happened to you?

I am Godzilla. Things do not happen to me. I have protected my world for millions of your kind's years, I shall protect this one for millions more.
[ He actually grins while boasting which... well, he's a dinosaur. His grins have a lot of teeth. ]
Even if they did, the energy of my being is of my heart and soul. It is regulated, controlled, were it to grow I would simply evolve once more. [ He spreads his arms wide, allowing all the extra spikes he has like the ones on his elbows and the ones on the end of his tail to be shown off. ] This form is newer to me, recent, the result of energy many times that of your machine. In absorbing the energy from humanity's missed steaks I grow stronger whilst ensuring the well being of the planet.

Especially since you've been downsized, too, right? When LILITH took you. Just like our units.
[ Now it's his turn to tap a foot on the ground, arms crossing over his chest. Even downsized, Yzak has to admit, seeing all of those teeth is pretty nerve-racking. ]
And I suppose all of what I just said goes for me. [ He can admit that, now that he's said it outloud. Yzak isn't a hypocrite. ] But either way! Neither of us are planning to let any worst case scenario happen, and nobody's touching my mobile suit, because regardless of how you or I feel about it, it's been brought here with me to pilot for the sake of this mission.

[ Buuuuut unfortunately for Godzilla's mood and ego Yzak has a point. The humans without their weaponry aren't much help in the battle against kaiju, as distasteful as said weaponry may or may not be. This white furred one seems far less reasonable than Pilot Dearka, but still Goji sees no reason not to offer the same doubtfulness of benefit.
Still he's crossing his arms in impatience and tapping his tail in mirror of Yzak. ]
Very well, a compromise. I shall keep close watch over your machine, as I have agreed to for Pilot Dearka. Should you fall or your faker become unstable, I shall absorb the core's energy to prevent harm to the others. This is agreeable, yes?

Still, he's Yzak, so he's not just going to agree without a few stipulations of his own. ]
That sounds agreeable to me.
But, we're not children who need to be watched over! We know what we're doing out there, and our machines can take a lot before something like an instability of the core would even become a concern. So no jumping the gun on your end, unless something is very, clearly wrong! We wouldn't lie about that shit, anyway, because we're not looking to die.
