[ He hissed, not a fan of that idea in the slightest. ]

It didn't tell me to do anything, it just had a thing in front of my face [ vision ] for a while, and then it was done.

He makes it through the door, but he's already starting to look around like a trapped rat, trying to figure out how to get to his room as fast as possible. ]

A, ah, progress bar. Yes. Hmm. The things they sometimes ask you to do are no less embarrassing. So I could understand if people ignored them.

[Perhaps the reason Silco's is glitching is due to the fact that he didn't have to do something like stand on his head, or hug a bunch of people.

Raidou isn't far behind him as they make their way down the hall, and he's quiet for a moment, thinking. Prickly as this man is, they're a team, and Raidou believes fully in that. Like it or not, they're in this weird situation together. They don't all have to be besties, but they'll function better if they get along.]

... Are you hungry? I was going to make dinner.

[ He looked Raidou up and down. Of course, his mind supplied, there would be an offer of food. The kid was too nice, but Silco's suspicions were vile and violent, and his single eye narrowed as he considered the offer.

His first thought is that he is hungry, but the second is: of course he is, that's the time of night. What if the boy is banking on it? Sure, he may not be (very unlikely to) but Silco didn't make it a habit of trusting anyone, let alone a kid that made him think of those righteous academy types.

Well, there was no need to be rude. ]

Want something in exchange, do you? I don't make a habit of accepting free offers.

[ That's...... not necessarily better, but it does skirt the line of what will trigger this damnable thing. Don't worry, he will say something unpleasant. ]

[Raidou looks genuinely perplexed for just a second when Silco accuses him of wanting something in return, replaced quickly by a furrow of his brows.]

N-No, I... was going to make dinner. With the food that is for everyone. What would I want in return?

[He legitimately has no idea. Raidou starts walking towards the kitchen, and Silco is welcome to join him or not. He knows well that a good meal can go a long way in helping someone's mood.]

There is plenty of crab stocked now. I'm going to boil some up.

Which is actually one of the few foods that Silco prefers beyond: calories to stay sharp. ]

[ Man Raidou, he actually takes a second. This is long enough that it might seem like he's conflicted, but Silco then turns, and starts to walk away. ]

No. I'm not interested in your food. Might be bad.

[ Sighs... and the second 1 roll means... that the implant shifts again and if Raidou turns around he's scarred for life before Silco turns a corner. ]
