[OPEN] Photo Wall
WHO: Any and every Outsider!
WHAT: A new addition to the base!
WHERE: One specific corner of the common area
WHEN: Starting 9/27, ongoing whenever
WARNINGS: None so far!
You might notice there's been a little bit of a hubbub in one corner of the common area, though you won't be there to see it in process. It will just be there when you least suspect it: that's right, it's a PHOTO WALL.
A digital photo display now graces the wall in the aforementioned corner, with a little note in the corner that says only please contact ice snap for group photography shots! In cute girly handwriting and little drawings of flowers.
But there's also so many photos being displayed, flashing across the screen! If March 7th has interacted with you and you haven't threatened her life in terms of having your photo taken, there are certainly photos of you up there! You may have also seen her newest protege Tezcatlipoca running around, so there are a ton of (weirdly blurry and out-of-focus) candid shots of people around the base. Like Ereshkigal fighting a bird! Godzilla in his doggy bed curled up with one of the kaiju eggs! Hunter getting caught mid-cat snuggle session! A very sexy maid! And more, including pictures of people who are no longer at the base so we can all be sad over our friends who went home!!!!
There's a place on the display for you to Submit your own pictures, through your implant or through any other photo-taking device. You can also search for anyone in particular with the Search feature!
(Keep in mind to the horny creatures out there that any sexy thirst traps or anything displaying something inappropriate can still be uploaded, but the system will automatically act to censor out the naughty bits and if that means you end up with a pink fluffy unicorn sparkling in front of your crotch, this is just what you deserve.)
Currently, there's an assortment of costumes in the nearby supply closet, in the event you want to dress up? Said costumes could be cute frilly maid outfits or a surplus of bunny costumes (for some reason) or just fun little crowns and cat ear headbands, but there'll be more holiday-centric decorations popping up as the months tick on!
So why not give the wall a glance? Share some memories? Drag someone grumpy in to take a photo with you? March 7th is never too far away...

Even if it was crude, it was a genuine question, so Izou’s earnest almost-answer pulls an immediate bark of a laugh out of him. He may wave Tezcatlipoca away, but naturally, that doesn’t work. In fact, he just steps closer with a sly grin. ]

... Yeah. That's right. So, in retroflection, ( retrospect ) I prob'ly shouldn't have gone and messed with the wall none.
( he wrinkles his nose. )
Though a lot of folks who've been in-and-out of these halls don't seem to have made it up here. It's not a bad idea... tryin' to keep the memory of them alive or whatever. It's the sorta sentiment my Master would've been all over.

[ See? Still extremely punchable. But he twirls the marker in his hand, then steps forward to hand it back to Izou, since he’s the one with the cap. With that settled, he steps back to the wall to take a better look at the photos that are up. When Izou mentions his Master, Tezcatlipoca breathes out another little laugh, then shrugs. ]
I don’t know about “all over”, but, yeah, could see Daybit being into it too.
[ He pointedly avoids calling him his Master, but that’s just out of stubbornness over terminology… The sentiment remains the same, regardless. Though, he does wonder if Daybit would even partake in something like this if he was given the option. He could just as likely see the guy deciding it wasn’t worth the effort. Daybit had lived with his “condition” for so long at this point that he didn’t exactly mourn those daily losses.
…But it’s why he has a bit of a softer spot for March himself. Apparently, he’s drawn to people who have memory issues now. What a “type” to develop. He looks to Izou as he returns the subject to her. ]
But, yeah, that’s basically what she said. Plus, happened to come up when we met, so I know she’s missing most of her memories. Easy to see how something like this would be meaningful after that.

in truth, izou didn't exactly put every crypter to memory like his master would've.
he was just there to support her, to kick up grains of dust and brandish his weapon in her name and for the sake of that planet's future. but he could, at least, recall them being interrupted abruptly in a certain lostbelt by this one, his gaze one of complete indifference as they all stood opposite in the square and tension crackled in the air, almost suffocating for the presence of a stranger who'd seemingly appeared out of nowhere. )

The elaboration does make it a little clearer where it’s coming from. Somewhat. Or, really, it’s more that he can’t exactly fault Izou for maybe not remembering him when Tezcatlipoca’s immediate thought is “wait you were there?”
…To be fair, though. He wasn’t at all interested in Ritsuka or her Servants at the time. He’d assumed that even if they made it through India, they’d certainly be killed by the Gods of Olympus. He hadn’t started taking them seriously until after that. ]
