WHO: rover and you!
WHAT: catch-all log from nov-dec - OTA!

OCTOBER - NOVEMBER.
1. SIMULATION (TDM SCENARIO) cw. descriptions of a panic attack
[ she's back here despite only a few weeks having recovered from transylvania. rover is giving herself some space and making sure that she's not taking on more difficult rounds of the simulation, if only because she truly doesn't want to injure herself again. nevertheless, she pushes herself hard every single time a fight comes up. why not? the alternative is to be stuck in her room again or wandering aimlessly from place to place until she exhausts herself, being bored. she has to keep on moving, she has to keep her wits about her.
the after-effects of the simulation come to her afterwards, at the beginning of the fight when the sounds of pyramid head's sword drags heavy against the floor. she ends up panicking, breathing heavily against the wall before calling it off. her heart hammers against her ribcage like a flightless bird being grasped slowly to death, feeling herself gasp for breath. ]
- alright, alright. I get it. Enough.
[ she presses her head against the wall, grumbling, eyes closed, trying to will herself to be more calm. ]
2. HALLOWEEN - HARLEM BAR - YOKAI FESTIVAL
[ bars aren't really her thing, but it's fun to watch a costume party and the associated ravers for the night. rover tucks herself in a corner booth as she drinks a mocktail, not really up for getting drunk. she's dressed in a costume reminiscent of alice in wonderland's queen of hearts, though the jagged line of her hair, cut awkwardly from transylvania, makes for an otherwise severe costume.
she'll wander off to the festival after, just to participate in it as well, but rover can be found in either location. for close CR, we can handwave your character getting an insistent text asking if they're interested in coming - either to the bar for a dance, or the festival. if your character needs to get drunk first, rover's amenable to drinking with them. ]

The simulation just has a tendency to mess with my mind.
I thought I've put Transylvania behind me well enough, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. [ a frustrated sigh. ] Perhaps I need to work harder.
