WHAT: A Late Valentine’s Party mingle, since Valentines’ Day was over Kaiju month…
WHERE: “MANTRA”, an underground, alternative club in Neo Toyko
WHEN: March 10th
WARNINGS: Romance and shippy things, alcohol, hookah, suggestive things. Anything NSFW is to be appropriately labelled.

Around the 10th of March, Outsiders will receive a message in their ocular inbox from Kabru, the Outsider also known as @ rasgulla. The message reads:

“To my dearest friends and teammates,

If we haven’t met before, call me Kabru. When not on missions as an Outsider, I work as a freelance event planner for various businesses and private organizations within Neo Tokyo.

Valentines’ Day is a popular holiday in Japan that was sadly interrupted last month by the kaiju. My current client is holding a belated Valentines’ Day event and they would really like the Outsiders to come. There will be plenty of food and things to do. Even if you're not looking for a romantic time, I'd encourage you to come!

Please wear something comfortable. Looking forward to seeing you there!

A location pin comes attached with the invitation. It looks like Kabru’s become more adept at technology over the months.

Follow the location pin and you’ll find yourself in front of ‘Mantra’ in metro Tokyo, an underground, alternative club making waves for its uniqueness in the club scene. Outsiders will all be allowed in without much fuss. The owner of the club is a gentle woman who kindly requests that all guests take their shoes off and leave them at the side. There is a lingering scent of incense and the people hanging out in the club look remarkably calm as they relax; cuddling and enjoying each other’s company. What kind of Valentine’s day party is this? A New Age, alternative kind, apparently. The owner of the club wants to be promoting togetherness in a completely different way.

Thankfully, finger foods and alcohol appear to be abundant, even if Kabru would really like you to be mingling with the people! There is a bar with free flowing wines and spirits, and a table with hors d'oeuvres and small desserts as accompaniment. These can include sushi rolls, small sandwiches, crab cake bites, small skewers, chocolates, little cakes and tarts. Food aside, there is live music playing and guests are highly encouraged to dance.

Naturally, couples are also coupling up, but anything too raunchy is of course cordoned off to a private room. Also, ignore the people smoking electronic hookah at the side…

What can you do besides eat and drink?

1. DANCING 💗

The DJ mostly plays trance and synth pop music in the background but he’s happy to take requests. On the dancefloor,there’s always a group of tipsy guests dancing their hearts out, some dancing alone and others dancing as a couple. There’s no right or wrong way to dance and most people will not cast judgement. Give it a try? Better hurry, before some of the overeager guests try to drag you in.

2. CUDDLE PILE 💗
Numerous cushions are set out around the venue for guests to lounge in and cuddle. It’s highly encouraged, in fact! Especially after a vigorous dance session. There are people lying together in larger groups, and couples choosing to spend their time lounging and enjoying each other’s company. Finding it difficult to relax? The owner might give you a whiff of her special perfume that’s guaranteed to put you in a state of complete calm. It might even make you more open about lying together with someone else.

3. SPEED DATING 💗

There’s a speed dating round going on in one side of the club. Guests are numbered and paired up randomly, then given a short amount of time to get to know each other on a speedy little date. Don’t know what to say? A list of questions will flow in through the oculars to give you a prompt. (Please refer to here and here for some examples or make up your own!)

4. MAKE SWEET TREATS 💗

In the spirit of Valentines’ Day, the owner of the club is hosting a quick desserts-making workshop at the event. Guests will be provided with ingredients and taught to make chocolate or cupcakes, and they will get the chance to decorate it however they like. It’s highly encouraged to make something to give to your sweetheart or the person you admire. Do you really want to be the person eating their own chocolate on Valentines’ Day?

5. PARTY GAMES 💗

What’s a party without party games? Throughout the night, people will be getting drunk and playing local drinking games such as the King’s Game. Eventually, other games from the West get introduced by other people. These games include Truth or Dare, Spin the Bottle and 7 Minutes in Heaven.

6. TAKE SOMEONE HOME 💗

If it looks like you're having a pretty good time with someone else, a helpful robot will approach you and provide you both with a key to a private room. Some of these private rooms are normal and some are themed, similar to a love hotel. There's no need to actually do anything raunchy of course. You could just cuddle up and enjoy the warmth of the digital fireplace! Everything one might need for a nice time together (condoms, lubricant etc) will be readily available.

As the event planner, Kabru will be buzzing around and making sure everything runs smoothly, but he can be stopped for questions or concerns (pls be nice to him he has anxiety). Characters can sit out of anything they want, but drunk and overeager guests might decide to drag them in.

[ She shrugs, it does interesting things with the cut of her dress. ]

[ She's going to step RIGHT UP into his space so that there's really nothing between them. The smirk she's got going on could be violent, teasing, or... no it's probably mostly violent. ]

[Too close, too close. He's reaching out to shove Kaga once more, except he's not trying to be careful and there is one part of her that is bountiful and easy to grab.

Going to regret your outfit now, aren't you Kaga?]

[ Kaga looks down at the hand that is On her Chest. Looks at Donnie. Looks down.

Sighs.

And proceeds to grab him by the throat with her metal arm to lift him up off his feet. She doesn't look mad, she's even blushing a bit because

But also yes she's mad. ]

That couldn't have seemed like a good idea in your head.

[SOMEONE WHO IS PANICKING DOES THAT.

And he can't really answer her, and boy he's glad he's a semiaquatic turtle. He can go awhile without breathing, so being strangled? Not as bad as it could be. So he's going to respond in the only way he can, via text.]

You're too close! It's not like I purposely choose where to push.

[Also, Kaga. This is a guy who is always almost nude, human body parts aren't really something he thinks about.]

It felt pretty damn purposeful!

[ She's straight up baring her teeth at him now which, given that she still has fangs from her temporary time as a vampire, is a lot more of an impactful gesture than it might be from some people. Very. Very briefly she considers squeezing her fingers until he turns an interesting color or she hears something crack, but... well. Probably shouldn't kill him.

Instead she lets go of him without warning, if he some how manages to land on his feet good for him, if not? Who cares. Kaga doesn't. ]

Touch me like that again and I'll rip off your arm. Got it?!

[Since she didn't exactly haul him up like, a foot in the air, he does end up on his feet... With a bit of a stumble, of course, as he rubs his throat and makes a horrifying wheezing sound.

A sound no human should be able to make, like really, before he says anything.]

[ Kaga closes her eyes. Takes in a deep breath, and centers herself. He's not worth it. He is Not. Worth It. You are the second flagship of the First Carrier Division. The strongest warrior of the Sakura Empire and inarguably one of the strongest members of all KAN-SEN kind. He's nothing more than an insufferable little insect of a bastard. A shining argument for why Sakurians aren't allowed to interact with KAN-SEN back home, anything remotely human is just disgustingly obnoxious.

He's not. Worth it. ]

[ She says as she flexes out the fingers of her metal hand, deploying the kaiju fighting claws LILITH put in there, steps forward, and takes a slash at Donnie's midsection.

Make horny turtle noises about that, punk! ]

[Yeah okay, he's not stupid. He notices those claws, because he is doing his damnest to not stare at her chest, and he was once again watching her metal arm. So he manages to just barely avoid having her claw his actual chest, which could go so horribly as his plastron is also softer than a normal turtle's.

But she does end up shredding his shirt. Which is a real shirt, not something made up by the cloaking.]

H-hey! I like that shirt!

[Also enjoy seeing his teenaged swimmer's body under the shredded fabric.]

[ All Kaga's really seeing right now is red, later on she'll probably be annoyed that he has a decent body though.

For now she's walking up on Donnie, rolling her shoulders to loosen herself up (again doing interesting things with the cut of her dress). ]

Get a style chip like everyone else, then you can make plenty more. If you live that long.

[ Which is all the further warning he gets before she's dashing forward and taking another swipe at him, following up this one by spinning on her heel and aiming a kick to his shoulder. ]

[Seriously?!

Her dashing forward makes him grab something from his pocket, which he is using his ninpo to have the object turn into a bo staff. Which he is going to do his best to use to block her strikes. Which is hard to do, so he takes the hit to his shoulder and... People are going to start paying attention to them.]

You're making a scene, we're going to get kicked out!

[He hisses at her, but doesn't make any move to retaliate.]

[ SERIOUSLY!

Kaga giggles as her kick connects, an unhinged girlish sound that's... kind of more unnerving than her fox laughing in a way. So the mouthy little kappa has a peasant weapon, does he? Oh this will be interesting. ]

Oh? So now you're worried about something? Tsk, tsk. You shouldn't show weakness.

[ Another giggle and she charges forward, crouching low and rising to her feet as she comes close, swiping upwards at one of his arms. It's a move that'll be easy enough to block.

She's toying with her prey at this point.

Speaking of, can't have anyone interrupt. As she slides back from the attack she waves a hand amiably at the nearest staffer. ]

Sorry, sorry. He's really into violent play like this. Complete masochist, you understand.

[ Apparently they do! Because they just shrug and go back to what they were doing.

Kaga turns back to Donnie, grins, and charges once more, this time aiming to kick him directly in the stomach.

She's fun! ]

[Okay, so... What would Lou Jitsu do here? As he brings his bo around to block the swipe at his arm and he takes a very clearly the stance of someone who knows what he's doing when she gives him space.

Sure he could argue about what she said to the staff, but he has more pressing things to worry about. So when she goes to kick him? He's moving to use his staff to pin her leg between it and his body, his goal to knock her off her feet and if he goes down with her? He goes down with her.]

[ Oh? Clever boy! Using her own movements against her to get her off her feet, which he succeeds in doing! Kaga's other leg comes right out from underneath her, she'd hit the ground... if she couldn't just, you know, passively fly.

Which is why she's straight up floating and taking the opportunity to brace that other foot on his staff to help her get some leverage. She uses that to curl her back forward in a crunch (Girl's got some core strength), her hands seizing the bo staff for added leverage...

So she can pull herself forward and attempt to just straight up headbutt Donnie. She has no chill. ]

[He could just let go of his weapon, it's not like he can't make a new one, but he doesn't.

Instead, he's making a desperate move when she moves to headbutt him. He moves into and angling into a way to make it so he'll take less damage from the headbutt. But well, his brilliant plan, not so brilliant. Because it's ending with his lips meeting hers a bit violently because it is still a headbutt, you know?

But he's in this now so, letting go of the bo staff and bringing both hands up to take hold of the sides of Kaga's face. He's committing to the bit.]

[ Hah! All according to plan, she's got him dead to rights! She feels their skulls connect, ow, and then something else warm and so--

Oh Creator's sake NOT THIS KISSING SHIT AGAIN. She's never going to another party, every time she does this crap happens, she's over it. All she has to d--

AND HE'S HOLDING HER FACE. Kaga can't pull back like she intends to, so instead she makes a startled "Mmmf!" of a noise and begins to, well. Not so much punch Donnie as she is repeatedly slamming her fists against his chest, and shoulders, and anything she can get at to make him stop kissing her. ]
