[ Aki's fingers drop immediately to find Tsurumaru's, to link them together briefly, to squeeze, before it drops away so they can link arms instead. It's hot, summer heat blazing down on them, his cheeks soft and red and his eyes flickering around the festival and taking it all in.

He's happy. Aki is finding the scraps of happiness here, and even if he feels discomforted by the strange distance between himself and Denji right now. He'll have to figure that out, but for now... Tsurumaru has his full attention. ]

I'm having more fun now.

(Lacing their fingers together, he locks onto Aki's hand and gives it a lazy swing as they stroll through the festival,)

I had a lot of fun. (Which should't be a surprise. He's sociable and friendly and the type that thrives in festive environments. Of course he'd have fun running around, playing games, eating food, chatting with anyone willing to indulge him,) But I'm having more fun now, too.

Did you find your match?

(His soulmate for the day? It's just a game but it had been a cute idea.)

[ Seeing Tsurumaru happy and content like this... It makes him feel warm and bubbly. ]

[ He grins, hair sticking to his face, cheeks warm... He feels his youth, now, far less than the older man he feels, sometimes. ]

In the game? No, I haven't played it yet.

It took me all day. (Took. Past tense.) And then I found Vash-kun and we could win.

(Leaning in, tugging Aki closer, their steps wobbling a bit as he tries to get his attention,)

Let's get a number. There's still time.

[ Aki turns to look at him, even with the wobble, expression soft and warm. ]

Do you think we'll win?

Cranes are lucky symbols!

(He is absolutely confident in their chances.)

Then we should play. We'll definitely win.

[ He's feeling particularly cocky now. ]

(He's going to drag Aki right to the table to get their soulmate numbers!! And they're probably warned the game is going to end soon and asked if they're sure they still want to play. When they insist, they get their numbers and Tsurumaru's is.....)

[ Aki frowns as he looks down at his own, looking a little annoyed. ]

[ A pause, then - ]

(He doesn't sound so disappointed. It's just a fun game. Still, he hands Aki over his number.)

[ Leaning down, Aki takes one of the pens from the table and scribbles on Tsurumaru's pin before he takes his own in return, holding them both up. Now, both of them say 180. ]

(Oh.... he looks at the pin and the obviously human-made edit to the printed number. It's so clear and yet, he can't help but let out a laugh, )

Surprise!

(And he'll throw his arms around Aki into a playful hug, ruffling his hair and leaning in to kiss him right on the edge of his mouth,)

See?! I told you I was lucky!

[ Aki smiles, reaching out and cupping Tsurumaru's cheek gently. ]

I think I'm the lucky one, Tsurumaru.

[ His free arm wraps around him, leaning close. ]

I'm marrying you.

(Can't believe they're going to have a whole moment in front of Yuji a festival volunteer.

While Aki is leaning in close, he leans back further, and further... until he goes totally limp in Aki's arms. Surprise, it's a trust fall!!! But he knows Aki won't drop him.)

[ Shot through the heart, huh...

Aki laughs, wrapping his arm around Tsurumaru and holding him close, curling him against his body. ]

Be careful!

[cranekin]

(Laughing brightly, hanging in his arms freely with only Aki for support,)

Help me up. Swing me around!

[ But it's said so fondly, and he does as he's told, swinging him gently. ]
