1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

On the morning of January 31st, a message from timaeusTestified sends out an invitation to these specific people: Silco, Tezcatlipoca, Ereshkigal, Choso, Donnie, Yuji, Raidou, Megumi, Muramasa and Yuta. I mean, Dirk had asked who his friends are here, so he's expecting everyone that he's invited to make it.

Today is a very special guy's birthday. Wear your best medical attire at the Medbay at 6:00 PM to celebrate Yugamu's birthday. He's 18, so it means a lot to him. If you don't make it, well.. you're an asshole. Thanks.

Even if you didn't get a specific threat invitation, there will be plenty of signs throughout the base advertising the party and what kind of attire is required, such as sexy nurse or a more modest doctor. Anyone can attend as long as they are dressed properly. If you don't have these handy, don't worry, looks like you can temporarily download it for the evening on the chip upgrade. How did that happen? Probably don't worry about it. The thing is, you won't know if you ended up with a sexy nurse or a doctor outfit until you give it a try. So why not give it a whirl? Don't you want free refreshments and shots? (Are these booster shots or alcohol shots? Only one way to find out!) but don't get mad at Dirk if you end up with an outfit that is a little too risque. Besides, Yugamu loves risque. He deserves a little show of skin from attendees.

2. YOU REGRET COMING HERE

Okay, well, anyway. This is probably a super strange party, but what did you expect? For example, there is a replica iron maiden selfie station made out of cardboard, plenty of macabre refreshments such as finger foods that look like fingers (they're cookies) and a grotesque looking cadaver cake. And the shots? They happened to be both alcohol and shots: cranberry syringe shooters with vodka amongst other mystery alcoholic beverages in syringes and mason jars. Too young to drink? Look. Nobody cares. Don't ruin the fun but drink responsibly. Or don't. Dirk isn't here to monitor you (well, not monitor that at least.)

There's somebody on the turntables playing some kind of godawful music, but somehow it's got a dancing beat. It's that other Strider boy, Dave Strider. If the music sucks, maybe ask him for a request, or better yet, maybe ask for a freestyle rap. Lil man loves doing that weird shit.

Maybe you're feeling a little buzzed, but don't be shy to grab the nearest person and ask them for a dance.

3. WISHING BEST WISHES

All of this stuff looks kind of extravagant and costly, but Dirk has connections with a certain crimelord. Don't worry. Dirk isn't going to tell anyone that Silco is the one who funded all of this.

Outsiders can enjoy the rest of their time as they would at any party, mingling with one another, but at some point in the night, there will be a network survey that will be posted. The post will be anonymous and allow people to give Yugamu good wishes or maybe confess something to him without being shy or worry of exposure. This can also serve as a gossip thread of whatever, because Yugamu loves stuff like that.
Otherwise, you're free to approach him with a gift. That's what normal people do a birthday party, right?

[Yugamu has the unique privilege of getting to eachew the sexy costume gender binary by dressing as a Sexy Doctor instead. This basically amounts to a scrub green mini dress under a white coat paired with sheer stockings.

[Yugamu continues to be in high spirits, and of course as this is his big day, he's drinking to perhaps some excess. It's probably not surprising that he's a pretty touchy feely drunk. Which would be fine except when he slings an arm around you;]

Hey, would you let me shut you in the iron maiden? Or even- maybe we could go in together? Hm? Hm??

[His eyes are saying "please please please please." Even drunk he won't force you into his weird activities.]

<sub>[ This party was.. something else. It was very specific, detailed and organized. That was the type of person Dirk was, though. He could never be chill when it came to his own machinations. Not only was this party a project for him, but it also was a move of courtship. He wanted this guy to see that he had paid meticulous attention to his bizarre interests, and Yugamu had mentioned wanting a birthday party, so Dirk took the opportunity and ran with it. He could do a sexy nurse, body horror themed party easily. No problem. The outfit he picks out caters to Yugamu's interest: a nurse in black. It might be unsuspecting to see someone with such a stoic demeanor wearing drag like this, but he's taking this to a whole new level. You know, for ironic purposes. The heels are a plus.

These kind of expressive emotions were foreign feeling to Dirk, as in he rarely experienced them, so seeing somebody else so animated him made some sort of warm and bubbly sensation in his chest, yet his face remained flat. There is the smallest upturn on his lips, as often happened when Yugamu made him happy. ]}

( Given he's more or less been parked on the medical slab since Seo could find research labs to work with, Hatsutori is ambivalent on the medical theme, but doesn't particularly have quarrel.

For the novelty of it, he gets chip upgraded into a pink nurse fit that would look cuter on someone with curves, but is all right enough on him and his bare leggies even without. He doesn't seem to mind or even notice what he's wearing, like it kind of just disappears from his awareness after a minute. How curious. Now it's cookie time.

You can find Hatsutori at the concessions table, slowly hamstering away at any and all the snacks, sweets, and cake. He's conscientious enough to snack slowly and conscientiously since this is someone else's party, and he doesn't seem to mind the gory theme. He does seem to be sort of a messy eater, though... red frosting smeared on his lips and fingers, he's messier than you'd think he'd be.

You might catch him trying a drink... and making A Face, expression scrunching up, as he realizes it's alcoholic. Now he sort of looks stuck with a drink in his hand he doesn't want. Betrayal... Betrayal of the highest order...

Otherwise, you can find him watching other people at the party while standing closer to a wall - whether you're actually doing activities or just standing around, he's just staring. Smiling. Probably munching. It's hard to tell what the vibe is when he has the same ambient lo-fi mood he always has, but it's unclear if he understands he can participate or like. if this is his idea of participating. )
