Winter Wonderland Field Trip [Closed]
WHO: Gojo, Geto, & Hikaru
WHAT: How to Train Your Eldritch Horror
WHERE: Remote Hokkaido
WHEN: Feb 7th
WARNINGS: Spoilers for Hikaru's canon, Geto & Gojo being menaces probably
Gojo's careful not to leave it too long--this is a high priority. He doesn't want it to be the immediate next day after Suguru's birthday, but the things Hikaru told him are still weighing on his mind. If Hikaru is a danger to others--to Megumi--then they need to figure out a way to resolve that.
He wasn't surprised that Suguru wanted to see the demonstration of what Hikaru was and what he could do, but he was more surprised to hear about the request of having Suguru present for Hikaru's training. The two of them were partners, now, in mentoring and caring for the students that they'd effectively adopted, and yet somehow it hadn't yet occurred to Gojo to have Suguru present for a lesson. He'd never accepted anyone's input on his teaching methods, and it had somehow seemed like an impossible dream--even now--to get to teach with his best friend. He's excited for it, but also a little nervous about the prospect.
He'd told them both to dress warmly, since he wants this demonstration done somewhere well away from people. So he's bundled up in hat and scarf as he raps at Hikaru's door, with Suguru at his side. He leans an arm on Suguru's shoulder, and grins brightly as Hikaru opens the door.
The two of them would be an intimidating combination on anyone's doorstep. Either one has enough shonen manga protagonist energy to fill literal stadiums, charisma and power practically shining off of them. The combined force of their presence is a little like looking into the sun.
Gojo holds out a hand to Hikaru. "Ready to go?"
He doesn't necessarily wait for a response, only until Hikaru's hand makes contact with his own, and then teleports.
They reappear mid-air above a snowy forest, on the banks of a frozen lake. Gojo drops them swiftly down to the shore before he lets go and gives them both a chance to adjust to their new environs. The ruins of an old house sit partway up a hill just behind them, and the lake stretches still and quiet out in front of them, heaped with snow at the edges but with the icy surface of it windswept until it's mostly clear, like a enormous private skating rink.
