[ Yuji's attention is definitely diverted by the sound of splashing water and the creak of rocking boats, knowing that there's still so many more of the smaller creatures to work on. His instinct is to rush out and start trying to tackle more of them, to leave Bakugo with his sword and take his club to the main fight once again, but he resists the urge. It's just going to get him more wounded, and he knows that it's irrational.
There are so many of them here who can deal with these kinds of problems, and they're all surviving. He has to force himself to recognise that this isn't Shibuya, this isn't the Culling Game: he's not alone here, he's not suffering these battles in isolation. He can rely on other people, and just like before, when Kugisaki had given him hope, he's getting it in spades. He's not alone in this fight.
