( open. ) firefighter calendar mingle!
WHO: everyone!
WHAT: the firefighters put out a calendar every year and guess who is getting everyone involved.
WHERE: the venue for the photoshoot, somewhere in the city.
WHEN: within the first week of their arrival.
WARNINGS: nudity or partial nudity? will update warnings as they come.
The firefighters are looking for models to assist in their yearly calendar. Last year due to some mishaps, they missed the due date for this beloved tradition in the city, and so are not looking to really make sure everything is flawless this year. Since is no error for mistakes, they are even recruiting people to model as firefighters, as well as looking for people who can act as temporary photographers— in a city as busy as this one, it isnβt always easy booking a photographer for certain time slots.β¨
everyone is free to put up their top levels and tag around as they see fit. you can see it as you were messaged by someone randomly on the network about an opportunity to make additional kyptos, or they could have even found an ad. whatever works!

1. As a photographer they are tasked to make the calendar spicy, but also unique! They figure one of the best selling points is variety. No more poses, the more avant-garde, the weirder even, the better! Like if your thing is posing with a carton of eggs, you do you!NOTE: hi, this is the log for the firefighter calendar!
2. Models are incentivized and even ranked (this is arbitrary, so I leave that all to you), so maybe this can also lift the competitive spirit of some! Or maybe you just really want to make some extra kryptos!
3. Outside of photographers and models, also looking for people who can enhance the overall experience. Do coffee runs for everyone, while also hyping or judging the models! Whatever they say fit! People can even stumble into these roles thinking they were here for a completing different reason! Or go out on an errand to come back and suddenly everyone is not as they once were.
4. Just have fun and free to make up your own scenarios! Even if it's walking in like π§ββοΈ I thought this was a pizza party.

He rolls his shoulders in some kind of half-shrug. ]
Being lawful is the last thing a criminal worries about. But I doubt that even matters around here.
[ If LILITH cared about that stuff, then they wouldn't have kidnapped him along with the rest of them. Desperate people can't afford to be picky. ]

Call it the prison warden in him, a role that he hasn't managed to slough off just yet despite the forcible removal of all his titles. There's an imperceptible change to his posture in his chair, spine straightening just a little as he observes this man through a newfound lens. ]
Ah, but you're not a criminal here. [ Is he?? Has he already gone around and sliced a man in half. Guy sure moves fast, if so. ] There's nothing that says you can't change your ways now. Turn over a new leaf and all.
[ Easier said than done though, and overall a worthless sentiment if the man himself has no desires to change his lifestyle. ]

But if Blade notices the change in how the other man perceives him, he doesn't say anything. All he offers is some kind of a half-hearted shrug, as if he's repeated this answer a thousand times already in the past. ]
There's no point in turning over a new leaf. A sinner doesn't deserve a second chance.
[ Even in a place like this, where they want him to help save their world, he doubts the outcome will be much different. ]

Funny, how he's been pulled from the comfort of his office and dropped into a strange new city who knows how far from home, and yet he's here having the same conversation he's had with too many people back home. Fate sure does have a strange way of manifesting itself.
The easy slouch to his posture disappears, Wriothesley sitting straighter in his chair. ]
No? There are plenty of people who would disagree with you, all of them sinners themselves. Just because we've broken a law in our past doesn't mean we should have our whole futures taken away from us, so long as we take the time to reflect on our actions.
[ Then again, some crimes are far worse than others. There's no use in speculating on the misdeeds of the man before him. ]
Of course, I suppose that depends on the severity of your crimes.
[ Sorry, this got deep. ]

And there are many others who will disagree with your words.
[ He could always elaborate, maybe tell the other man just how many suffered through the consequences of his actions, but he looks around at where they are, surrounded by cameras and other half-naked models. ]
... But this is hardly the place for a conversation like this.
[ No need to bring his drama here when people would rather oogle and all. ]

The casual dismissal of his words is hardly a surprise. They're strangers to each other, two men occupying the same room wholly by chance, with neither of them the type to be so easily swayed by the words of another. (That Wriothesley can see, anyway.)
He pulls back a little from the back of his chair, some of his gravitas disappearing. ]
The world would be a much less interesting place if everyone agreed with what I said all the time, now wouldn't it. [ But also: ] You have a surprising amount of tact for a guy who looks like he belongs more in a graveyard than in front of a crowd of adoring fans.

When it seems the other man has accepted his refusal to share anything more, Blade tries his best to look more relaxed. Keyword: try. The man still looks completely out of place in the middle of all this, and he can only hope that it will be their turn to get pictured soon so he can find his way out.
That comment from Wriothesley, however, earns a curious look. ]
I wouldn't call it tact. I simply don't have a lot of things to say.
[ At least, not out here...... ]

[ People in Fontaine truly talk so much sometimes, and for what. But despite living in the dead silent Revelation wing, he can appreciate reticence every now and then. There's enough noise and activity happening at this calendar gathering that the lull in conversation is welcome.
He stands up, swinging his leg back over the chair. ]
But I'll spare you any further conversation. It looks like they're moving on to the next guy already.
[ Which apparently is him?? They can die while staring at a 99% loading bar and then body heat meme laterβ¦. ]
