WHO: everyone!
WHAT: the firefighters put out a calendar every year and guess who is getting everyone involved.
WHERE: the venue for the photoshoot, somewhere in the city.
WHEN: within the first week of their arrival.
WARNINGS: nudity or partial nudity? will update warnings as they come.

The firefighters are looking for models to assist in their yearly calendar. Last year due to some mishaps, they missed the due date for this beloved tradition in the city, and so are not looking to really make sure everything is flawless this year. Since is no error for mistakes, they are even recruiting people to model as firefighters, as well as looking for people who can act as temporary photographers— in a city as busy as this one, it isn’t always easy booking a photographer for certain time slots.


1. As a photographer they are tasked to make the calendar spicy, but also unique! They figure one of the best selling points is variety. No more poses, the more avant-garde, the weirder even, the better! Like if your thing is posing with a carton of eggs, you do you!
2. Models are incentivized and even ranked (this is arbitrary, so I leave that all to you), so maybe this can also lift the competitive spirit of some! Or maybe you just really want to make some extra kryptos!
3. Outside of photographers and models, also looking for people who can enhance the overall experience. Do coffee runs for everyone, while also hyping or judging the models! Whatever they say fit! People can even stumble into these roles thinking they were here for a completing different reason! Or go out on an errand to come back and suddenly everyone is not as they once were.
4. Just have fun and free to make up your own scenarios! Even if it's walking in like 🧍‍♂️ I thought this was a pizza party.

there's also being a sinner on the bus with a task to retrieve the golden boughs while fighting abnormalities along the way, but even now she's still following the NDA of her contract. ]

Of course I joined the modeling gig. No one would make me take pictures, it would be such a waste to make a beauty like myself to do that.

[ There's a brief pause before Sooyoung actually answers because she recognizes two routes she can pick from. Route A involves admitting that she comes from a post-apocalyptic world while Route B... ]

We have monsters under our beds in my world.

[ Route B is that. A little lie never hurt anyone... well, it never hurt her (too much), so it's valid. ]

And I guess you're doing all the fighting in your world.

Huh, cute. And you just fight them back with your dagger or whatever?

[ sorry... she can be real petty sometimes... ]

Well, not all. My line of work is actually the most lucrative job in the market right now, so everyone's just turning into mercenaries left and right. It's hard to stand out now because of this. [ sighs. ] Anyway, I change my mind about getting drunk. I'm getting hungry now. Wanna go get barbecue instead?

Yeah, exactly. My little dagger and me against the monsters under my bed.

[ She lives for bringing out that pettiness, though... sighs. ]

How did your world get so many hardworkers and mine didn't?

[ Even back home, Sooyoung often found herself lacking people to manipulate. Or maybe that's just the ~friendship effect~ because she's been hanging out with all these people from Kim Dokja's Company. Not that she's going to discuss don't wet now. ]

Why don't we get both? Barbecue and drinks.

[ Maybe she'll even chip in because she's getting hungry too... ]

Isn't anyone working a shitty nine-to-five where you're from? Aren't you lucky.

[ there's a reason why ishmael left the corporate life. it may seem glamorous, but getting your life sucked out with endless paperwork is really not worth it. hsy must be soooooo privileged if she never had to go through like that. ]

Mm, sounds good. I could really go for some meat right now... Ah, perfect.

[ just up ahead is a little yakiniku place! perfect. with a nod, she leads the way until they're seated down in a booth. ]

[ Sooyoung never experienced that nine-to-five life but for the sake of the conversation, but for the sake of the conversation, she can pretend. If anything, she's already getting interesting information. She waits a few moments until they're sitting down to continue the conversation while checking out the menu. ]

[ the menu is on an lcd screen mounted on their table, with ishmael scrolling through it until she finds a simple beef set with chuck rib, skirt steak, and and short ribs. along with a mug of beer, of course. ]

Nothing, really. [ she shrugs. ] It's just... It was draining. You wouldn't know until you worked at corporate yourself. The money's good but it's not really worth it in my opinion.

[ she would know, but maybe she's the odd one out. ]

[ In the meantime, Sooyoung orders a full rack of BBQ ribs and some fries on the side as well as a mug of beer. ]

So you'd rather have less money but do something more exciting than paperwork? I guess that's fair. Especially if the alternative is killing monsters and such. What's the weirdest job you've done?

[ It might seem that she's a good listener but actually she's just curious and nosy... ]

[ ishmael narrows her eyes at her slightly. well, she's not going to tell the other girl about limbus company, for starters. even now she's still under contract, and there's just no getting out of it according to faust.

and so she answers: ] Babysitting you.

the meats arrive, and she starts putting them on the grill. how do you like THAT zinger, huh ]

[ Sooyoung stares at her in silence for the longest time. Letting it slide isn't an option, obviously. Before she makes a move, however, she needs to think it through. Whatever happens next, it must cause Ishmael as much emotional damage as possible. ]

[ her mind is momentarily STAGGERED, thanks. ishmael scowls at her, picking up a rib from the grill and biting crankily into it. ]
