WHO: everyone!
WHAT: the firefighters put out a calendar every year and guess who is getting everyone involved.
WHERE: the venue for the photoshoot, somewhere in the city.
WHEN: within the first week of their arrival.
WARNINGS: nudity or partial nudity? will update warnings as they come.

The firefighters are looking for models to assist in their yearly calendar. Last year due to some mishaps, they missed the due date for this beloved tradition in the city, and so are not looking to really make sure everything is flawless this year. Since is no error for mistakes, they are even recruiting people to model as firefighters, as well as looking for people who can act as temporary photographers— in a city as busy as this one, it isn’t always easy booking a photographer for certain time slots. 

1. As a photographer they are tasked to make the calendar spicy, but also unique! They figure one of the best selling points is variety. No more poses, the more avant-garde, the weirder even, the better! Like if your thing is posing with a carton of eggs, you do you!
2. Models are incentivized and even ranked (this is arbitrary, so I leave that all to you), so maybe this can also lift the competitive spirit of some! Or maybe you just really want to make some extra kryptos!
3. Outside of photographers and models, also looking for people who can enhance the overall experience. Do coffee runs for everyone, while also hyping or judging the models! Whatever they say fit! People can even stumble into these roles thinking they were here for a completing different reason! Or go out on an errand to come back and suddenly everyone is not as they once were.
4. Just have fun and free to make up your own scenarios! Even if it's walking in like 🧍‍♂️ I thought this was a pizza party.

[ Why is there a carton of eggs ... product placement??? ]

As a burn victim, I would probably be in pain, so ... [ Smiling was not discussed either. Megumi continues to find this whole situation the most awkward thing ever, and he can barely look Yuwon in the eye, face and gaze turned away. This photo isn't going as planned at all.

The organizer cuts in and orders that they make it more obvious that Yuwon is saving Megumi. ]

How would we do that?

People express pain in different ways. You'd be surprised. [ but, no one he knew that he actually unalived ... actually smiled. not that he recalls anyway. but, he figures that was neither here nor there. instead, he has to focus his attention on his present mission, and that's...

to make him look like megumi's savior. ] I told you shoud have just smiled. [ yuwon says, before he tightens his grip on megumi and lifts him straight up. except, now that he's lifted him in his arms in a typical princess carry, he remembers...

wasn't there an actual fireman carry? ]

Hey ... [ This is too embarrassing. The colour in his face turns a shade of pink as he's lifted easily, and Megumi keeps pushing at Yuwon's chest, very much like a cat that's protesting being picked up. He understands the assignment though, so he doesn't protest too hardly. ]

How could I smile in a situation like this ... [ Instead, he's doing just the opposite, and looking away from the camera and Yuwon, clearly too embarrassed for eye contact right now. It's not doing them any favours because the cameraman can't take the photo when one of the subjects are looking away. ]

[ in contrast to megumi's clear discomfort, yuwon looks mostly unaffected. his expression barely shifting, except for one in slightly confusion and slight assessment. his eyes stray to the cameraman who is clearly looking troubled by the lack of eye contact from his subject(s).

hence, yuwon debates moving megumi's head manually with his hands, but decides that would... probably also only lengthen the process (and only give one arm to lift megumi, which wouldn't be a problem for him, but maybe that weird— who knows why he draws the line at that)—

so he does the next best thing, he tucks megumi in closer, letting the side of his cheek push against megumi's hair, as if to non-verbally remind him to face the camera. ]

[ Megumi can feel himself sliding further against Yuwon. He's being fully cradled down, and it's just excruciating, especially given that it's happening in front of someone else. He can feel that nudge against his hair and he knows he's being prompted to actually look at the camera. He also knows that the sooner they do this, the sooner they can be done with it all. ]

Unbelievable ... [ His face is flushed so red. After a few seconds, he finally lets out a sigh and relents, turning his head back so face the camera. Their faces are way too close like this. How do they keep getting into these situations?! ]

Hurry ... [ The cameraman is signaling at him to hold on to Yuwon. Megumi lets out a frustrated sound, then proceeds to try doing that, sliding his hands around his neck. ]

[ the arms that wrap around him indicate that he's probably looking at the camera now. he doesn't tear his gaze away to check, if just for believing it'd be better for him to keep his sights set, just in case. he'd hate to squander away their efforts, after all. still, it seems to pay off when the photographer, for the first time, actually has no complaints.

there's the sound of the shutter. once, twice, and three times for good measure, before they gesture that they're done with these scenes. ] You're light. [ isn't that what he's supposed to say in situations like these?

that said, he leans down, waiting for megumi's feet to touch the ground before releasing. ] Are you okay? [ he figures he should probably ask for the record. his face did look kind of red, and knowing his serious personality, he suspects this wasn't exactly ideal for him. ]

[ It doesn't escape Megumi's notice that Yuwon was gentle and considerate toward him. He was picked up and held just as gently as he was settled onto the ground. That made the whole ordeal just a bit easier, knowing that the other person involved was not trying to draw things out or make them any more difficult than they have to be. It was also ... nice, to have someone be considerate toward him. ]

I'm fine. [ There's a sigh. His face is still pink but he's recovering from this at least. ]

Hopefully, that's the last one.

[ Only, the person organising the shoot suddenly gets the bright idea that it would be great if they could get a shoot of Yuwon 'comforting' Megumi as he is 'crying'. ]

Are you out of your mind?!

[ considerate is probably not at the top of the list for words people would use to describe him, and he'd be perfectly okay with that. however, that's not to say he's going to rough handle someone over something that's beyond both their controls. especially, as megumi has been nothing less of helpful since they met. besides, there was an unspoken bond forged when megumi allowed him to borrow his sword— and he can't say it doesn't weigh on him now.

perhaps due in part to that, he doesn't even flinch even when megumi raises his voice. which is probably valid, but also... maybe a bit amusing.

while not exactly wanting to add fuel to the fire, he does quietly add: ] Crying is not that different than playing dead. [ ... okay, that's not right. but, he grabs megumi's wrist, lifting it up. ] You just need to cover your face, right?
